Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 13 Jun 2023, 05:14

Good morning.

As it's forecast 34° our Guadalmar walk is being done early.

Back home to chill by (or more likely in) the pool.

TV tonight. Two classic comedies on BBC4. Hancock's Half Hour and The Likely Lads.
And a new excellent four parter which started last night...Best Interests.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Sunny, but with a little chilly breeze. Heat ramping up to 38C from tomorrow

Just looking at the news and the north got hammered with rain and thundersotrms yesterday, we had about 10 seconds

Ironing later and Grumpy has said he'll strim the drive. Rather later than I would like (normally, I would have done it by now, but not allowed) So a busy morning and a lazy afternoon 8-)

Leftover pork loin (black pork tenderloin, with a garlic and coffee sauce. Sounds awful, but really tasty) and gert steak for Grumpy will be had for dinner, with chips and salad. Did you know, crinkle cut frozen chips done in the air-fryer don't need oil? Only take a few minutes and are really good.

Happy 45th birthday to my lovely daughter today xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s another hot and sunny one. We had another storm last night but not as much rain as the night before.

John left early to drive to Nissan at Sunderland for a site visit.I took Bill for an early walk and since then we’ve been to the post box. Traffic is at a standstill on the A34 in the Stafford direction, not sure what’s happening.

Chips are always air fried here too, can’t think what it was I’d bought they other week but it actually had cooking instructions for air fryers on the back.

Right, this load of washing isn’t going to put itself into the machine.

Have a good day all :)

Morning all :D

Lovely and sunny 8-)

Finally managed to get the front garden sorted yesterday afternoon, good idea, the bin was emptied this morning  Will be popping over to the small Tesco later this morning, planning to poach some fresh salmon for dinner this evening and need some salad to go with it.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning all.
Scorchio here as well Vic. happy birthday to your daughter Jan.
Mrs C at our sons house. I have been for a paper but today is not the day for doing much this afternoon.
The media is panicking though. Honest to God, you have one warm week and it's like the apocalypse to listen to them.
Have a good day everyone.

hello all and good afternoon
Office day for me and same as everyone else - it's a warm day. Leaving work early which will be good - avoiding trains at rush hour.
Currently have a school band playing in the park outside our building - lovely to listen to it

Have a lovely day everyone and stay cool xx

Ria,

I love a good brass band. On TV recently it showed a vilage where there was a festival and brass bands marching in their colourful uniforms.
