The watering seems to take much longer now, maybe I'm getting older or maybe I can see all the plants

Pootling this morning, pants to go in now it's cooler and I might get some tidy up stuff doe in the gardeb. Depends how ot, how quickly, it gets.

Meeting friends down at the bar tonight and I'm actually cooking for dinner

Morning all :)

Not so scorchio here today Al! xx

Take care Jan xxx

It’s been raining here, so it’s considerably cooler this morning! The rain was much needed so I’m not complaining about it for once ;) We’re actually wearing light jackets out and about   Having breakfast now, then round to D’s later. Lots to do at home this weekend as we’re off to the wedding on Tuesday, so I have ironing etc ready for packing.

Have a good day everyone xxx

Good morning everybody,

Have been to town, Took a pair of trousers to one of the charity shops. Bought some food and have come home.
It is cloudy and not as warm as yesterday. Still ironing to do and the weeds are starting to come up again.
So still lots to do.

Morning all :D

Bit cloudy right now, rain expected at lunchtime, but this afternoon is forecast sunny so we'll see.........

We've had a nice lie in, planning on getting the bus to the harbour later this afternoon, weather permitting. Thought it would be nice to have fish and chips on the seafront as an early Fathers Day celebration.

Hope you all have a good day xx

We’re back! Up before sunrise this morning in order to get off the ship at 7am, we had transport arranged which got us to the airport in great time for check in. Rome Fumicino is a lovely airport, spacious and bright, with lovely food choices. When we headed for the taxi rank at Dublin airport, there was NOBODY queueing :o never, ever saw that before! Home between 2.30-3, dropped the bags and headed out for something to eat and to buy milk etc. Back now, everything unpacked, first wash on and ready to relax for the evening. Miss Osc has asked us to go to them for an early Father’s Day dinner tomorrow. Michael came home from Irish college today also, apparently he was awarded a trophy as Best Boy! Looking forward to seeing them all tomorrow. It was a wonderful cruise, only two months until our next one and we have booked another in June of next year.

Evening all. It’s ended up sunny and hot after a wet and humid start.

Went looking for a Father’s Day present for my Dad this morning, it’s so difficult to buy anything for him so I ended up getting him a rose bush. Tom and Joe took him to a nice country pub for lunch today. Tom’s now eating out again, he’s taken John to Otto’s in the Jewellery Quarter, or the JQ as the trendy types like to call it, for pizza as his Father’s Day present. He took me there for Mother’s Day, the pizzas are amazing.

Good to see you back Osc, it looks like you visited some beautiful places! Well done to Michael!
