Morning everyone

We've had a days weather so far  Started of cloudy, then the sun came out, then misty  and now the sun has gone and the clouds are back  Possible thunderstorm forecast for early afternoon.

watered all the new and delicate plants, in case we don't get rain, the rest can wait.

I might try to get the washing done this morning, probably leave it until tomorrow, looking at the now grey clouds

Off down to see the eye surgeon again this afternoon. ill pop into Iceland for Mitchell beforehand. It was rather late when we left last week. And dinner out on the way back :Hi:

Lovely to have a chat with Ria last night :Hi: xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, I was hanging out towels before 9am and it was gorgeous, but cloud is increasing and we may have a shower or two, it’s warm though. Edward has gone to play golf. H/worky stuff for me today, mostly laundry. We had a lovely time in Miss Osc’s yesterday evening, we were able to eat outside. Michael is in great form after his fortnight in Irish college and is already planning to go back next year. Kellie was tired and inclined to be grumpy after a busy day at her school’s strawberry fair and then playing with her cousin.

A lot of stress for SIL and his siblings at the moment, their mother’s partner is dying and she is not coping well, so they are trying to support her as much as they can. The partner’s sons are not really stepping up but SIL feels that their mother is their priority and it is up to the sons to be there for their father, it shouldn’t all fall on J. He is in hospital at the moment which might give her a much needed break. I do worry about Miss Osc when the time comes for one of us, but I think SIL will be very much there for her as she is an only child.

Good morning all, happy Monday

Cruiser - that's a lovely thing to be doing; I'm sure she'll appreciate it
Saundra - sending big (((hugs)))
Osc - that's hard for the SIL but I agree; if the partner has children then they should be stepping up. But sadly not all families are like that. Nadine has an elderly neighbour (D) going in for surgery in a few days, you'd think his son (who lives about an hour away) would make sure he could take his dad and get him settled etc, but nope D has booked a Bustler bus to get him there. So between Nadine and I we'll make sure he gets there. The son really doesn't do much!
Jan, it was lovely to chat yesterday - definitely need to do it more often x Good luck with the day today and hope you get everything you need done
Ally and Jen - enjoy your respective days

I'm in the office today - sigh. We had lovely rain yesterday; could do with a bit more though.

have a good day everyone xx

(((Saundra)))

Afternoon all, it’s dull and a bit fresher today. It was so humid in the night.

Bill’s had a long early walk and two loads of washing have been done.

I then watched one of the two George Michael specials which were on BBC2 on Saturday. I watched the first one yesterday and the second was a recording of a London concert, Osc it’s the tour you and I were both at in Dublin. I saw the show twice in Manchester before that, I got a last minute ticket three rows from the front for the first one and went on my own, John drove up and picked me up at the arena afterwards and I was speechless, I didn’t speak a word all the way home, I was awestruck. The second one was at the Emptihad with my friend, it absolutely hammered it down the whole day and we were on the pitch but it was wonderful regardless. Then I thought sod it I’ll see him in Dublin, a whirlwind 15 hour trip which ended with me spending the night in Dublin airport before the first flight back

Have a good day all x

Afternoon everyone :)

It's very warm again here today. Been in town for a few last minute bits, met my friend Em for a cuppa and have just got home. We're taking Fraggle to Hereford in a while, then back to finish my packing. We're setting off early in the morning, it's a very long drive ahead of us but should be a lovely couple of days :D

Love to all xxx
