The BBC who as we all know for saying they need more money are reported as sending 1000 members of staff to cover the festival.

One camera at the entrance, Two looking towards the stage, one scanning the crowd. one spare. Total five needed.
But then the BBC must have wall to al screenning time recording every single second as it is a "major" news item.

Of course you know there will be thousands of woke moments there and they would not want to miss one of them.

Hmmm, the BBC is there for evedrybody so it will cover things that are not to everyone's taste.

Glasto, like it or not, is a big event. The advance party has to go in before it starts to set up cameras (fixed and mobile) and all the sound systems, and get them all working together. The crews and their kit have to stay somewhere. Then there are five days of events at ten major performance stages, with introducers, commentators and, of course, pundits. Then there is the take down once it is finished. They all have to be put up somewhere. Most of the (1,000 staff) coverage will have been done from studios at Shepherd's Bush and Salford so people not exactly "at" Glastonbury.

I suppose that I could have a similar rant about the cost of the Coronation or the Proms or Wimbledon as they are not "my" thing. But hey, some people like them and, as I said earlier, the BBC has to cater for everyone not just me, me and me.
