Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 29 Jun 2023, 04:12

Good morning.

Yesterday was another fantastic day. Loads more to add to the memory bank. :D

The Banksy exhibition was excellent. Meeting up with Amy and experiencing that with her was lovely.
And the escape room! Who knew what fun they were!

I've really had the best time ever here. (We need a heart emoji.)

Heading to Craig's today on the 1.25 train.

He'll pick me up, I'll drop my case off and we'll go to his local. :D

Have a great day.

Safe travels to Ria.

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast, lots of rain forecast

Safe travels Ally and Ria.

Up at silly o'clock, E has a phone pre-assessment due at 9am. Seems a bit of overkill as he's at the RNOH tomorrow for a 'proper' pre-op assessment and will then go down to screening for his CT scan. Oh well, ours not to wonder why....

Afterwards we'll be off to Westwood Cross and M&S. Plan to stock up on some of the things we particularly like from there, their sausages are really nice and it's where I get the 5% mince. For years now I bought the latter from Sainsbury's, but they've changed their packing and it now comes as a gelatinous lump which doesn't cook very well, absolutely yukky. There have been loads of complaints, not surprised.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning all :)

Ally, that sounds like loads of fun :D Safe travels today xx

You too Ria, have a fantastic time :) xxx

Have a good day Cruiser xx

Jen, I've seen that mince, it looks absolutely vile :? Best of luck to E xx

Hoping for some news on our Saundra today xx

It's sunny today, but considerably cooler than recently. I'm going shopping with D, hopefully to Tesco as she's just got her Club Card, but if she wants to go to Sainsbury's I'm easy with that. I have ironing to do this afternoon, and then it's Pilates tonight.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all, it’s nice and sunny here for the moment anyway. Usual Thursday, dance practice this morning and back to have Kellie here after school, last one for a couple of months as she gets her holidays tomorrow. Michael is working for Miss Osc today and will come here afterwards to have his dinner and there will be icecream from the shop next door as a holiday treat - they will be going to Wicklow next week. Had some shopping time with my sister yesterday, we don’t shop together as we have totally different tastes and she struggles to make a decision on what to buy. However, she was looking for an outfit for a wedding so after breakfast out with my brother, we visited two local shops. In one I bought a Seasalt dress and she bought a very nice longer top which I actually really liked. Then we went to another shop where she had seen a dress which she might like for the wedding - astonishingly I really liked that too, and even more astonishing, she actually took on board what I said and bought it! Right, better get moving, we want to have a quick run through of a dance we’ve been learning.

Morning everyone

Bit blowy, so feeling lovely and cool, but another hot day 8-)

Safe journey Ally x

Have a fantastic time Ria xx

Been a busy morning, out and about in the new car. Still no idea how to put diesel in  but I do like the seat belt coming towards me when I've shut the door. Being polite, I always say thank you.

It's obviously the week for falling over. Jackie fell over yesterday, Mitchell fell out of a tree  and I look a complete mess.

Ironing at some stage, although I really don't feel like doing anything at all. Maybe tomorrow.

Salad for dinner.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning.
Nice and sunny.
Not much on here. Safe travels to all. Hope you get sorted soon Saundra.
They are mending the footpaths in our village. Don't understand why, because the roads are ten times worse than the footpaths!
Have a good day all.

Took myself off to urgençia earlier, was feeling rather wobbly and head was very sore.

Just got a taxi back from Beja where they gave me a cat scan and later given the all clear.

Also got a prescription for creams and other stuff to put on.
