Afternoon all, it’s dull and cool with rain forecast.

Walked Bill first thing and I’ve done some housework since, now I’m catching up on some TV and crocheting. Cinema tonight to see the new Mission Impossible film. I’ve not seen any of the earlier ones, they don’t appeal to me but John loves them, and I predict that once I’ve eaten my Maltesers I’ll be watching the inside of my eyelids

Ally, those temperatures are crazy!

Hope all goes well Jen!

Have a good day all :)

Good afternoon.
I hope all goes well with E, Jen. Try and rest if you can.
We have been to do a shop. MrsC has made some buns and I have done some batch cooking.
It was lovely and sunny when we were at Sainsbury's but it's raining heavily now, and has been for more than an hour.
We will be picking Eliza up at three-ish.
Have a nice day everyone.

Ria I too would love a few more degrees of heat, it’s got to reach the dizzy heights of 14 here today!! We’re lucky that it’s not rained until AFTER we got back from a beach walk, which was really pleasant and stopped off at the tea rooms half way round. We think tomorrow we’ll head home, we’ve missed our pets even though it’s been lovely to enjoy long lie ins every day, Lily dog does NOT allow that!! But we’ll not leave likely until about 3pm, it feels like weve been in our own little bubble for the past 11 days with no stress, just fabulous.

Have a lovely Tuesday xx

Afternoon all :)

All the very best to E, Jen, I hope all goes well xxx

It's drizzly and cool here too, more like late September than July  We've been out and about, brunch at Portivo's then a nice walk round the water. Mick bumped into someone he worked with many moons ago, so they had a chat. Round to D's after, then home here to sort out my washing, which has had to go on the new clothes horse. :cute:

Love to all xxx

And breathe........Mr McCulloch has just rung. He said the knee was a proper mess but using robotics and a purpose build replacement has gone really well and he's very happy with how it went. He advised waiting a couple of hours before ringing the ward, Ed's likely to be in recovery for some time. I think I've aged at least 30 years today.
