Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 25 Aug 2023, 05:30

Good morning.

Last day of 39°. 38 tomorrow then dropping to 35 on Sunday.
I'll believe it when I see it. Yesterday was an absolute furnace here.
On my fb memories ten years today I'd posted we were in Malaga and it was 42 degrees. I know that's high but it wasn't unbearable. Because it's been sooooo hot for so long 39 feels as if it'll never be cool again. Roll on September.

I was going to go for a walk but even yesterday near the coast wasn't cool enough at 9am.
If I can get out at 7 tomorrow morning I'll do one then.

The pool beckons again. I'll have my usual swim then hide there till tea time.

Friday beers and tapas tonight. :cute:

Have a great day.

Morning everyone

Another hot day for us too  Supposed to be 31C tomorrow and rain is forecast for next Saturday  Yeah, right.

Sky looks more normal this morning, so hopefully the dust has gone.

Watering done, although I pulled one hosepipe off :o and then had to finish it off by walking everywhere with two watering cans

Cleaning will be done, then the pool, then breakfast. I then have to prep for tonight's dinner and make tomorrow's, as I won't feel like doing anything when I get back and then just lazing around.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning you two and everyone else

Shall we trade for a bit - you have our UK weather and we have some of your warmth? We're looking at a maximum of 21 or so degrees for the next week or two :(
Enjoy your respective days doing as little as you can and staying cool.

I'm making the most of these last quiet August days and, in between the usual work, mow the lawns today and do a bit more pootling around the garden. And need to follow up with the vet to see if Ava's blood test results have come in.

Have a lovely day everyone xx

Morning all, it’s sun and cloud here with rain forecast for later. I left clothes out on the line overnight so will take them in soon as I’m sure they are dry. Kellie will be here shortly for the day, Michael is back in school this morning but Kellie doesn’t start back until Monday. I want to bring a jacket to the place where I get alterations done, and also get some stuff in Holland and Barrett, so she and I will do that. Edward is going to play golf. We’re going dancing tonight. It seems like about a month since our holiday!

Morning all :D

Nice and sunny 8-)

Usual wash day for me and a Sainsbury's delivery later this afternoon. Plenty to keep me busy so Ed will have a walk locally. Hoping the weather's nice tomorrow so we can go over to the cliff top again.

Hope you all have a good day xx

You too Jan xx

I hope Ava's results are in, and good Ria! XX

Rain, Cruiser? :( That's rotten luck, it's been beautiful here xx

Enjoy the dance, Osc xx

Fingers crossed for Ed's walk, Jen. Hope the weather holds xx

Beautiful sunshine here. Out early for SW, then enjoyed a cuppa in Em's beautiful garden. Mick and I had lunch out, then spent an hour with D. Got back in time to take Fraggle for his annual boosters, and check-up - some fantastic news, his heart murmur seems to have disappeared! :D It was a Grade 2 last time :? :D

Love to all xxx
