Good morning.

Sneaking back up to a cheeky 34° so I got my walk in early.

I'll have a swim then a lazy day reading by the pool.

TV tonight.

Have a great day.

Morning all :)

Good thinking, Ally ;) :D xx

I need to do some dead heading in our garden too, Cruiser xx

It's grey and chilly here, hopefully it will cheer up later as I have washing to do. Out later this morning to walk Fraggle and grab a cuppa. Lunch with D.

Have a good day everyone xxx

Monring everyone

Blowing a hooley, so feeling quite cold. And cooler at night too, so the inside is just about right now. 32C for us today.

I won't be doing a lot today, every now and then I get a really bloated tum and chronic indigestion, due to Gladys, and I feel really uncomfy, so spent most of the night reading and taking the tablets   Feels a bit better this morning and by tomorrow, I'll be back to normal, but not pleasant when it happens.

Having a chat with a friend via video later and then the ironing.

Not sure what we will have for dinner, something bland, I think.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast, but no rain forecast.

We both had a text from the GP this morning asking us to book our winter flu and covid jabs. All done, we'll be having them done on Sat 7th Oct. Might have to reschedule mine if my op goes ahead on 25th Sept, but as I haven't had the promised letter to confirm I'm not too optimistic it will happen then. I'll be ringing the scheduling number later today to check, we'll see...........

We're off out to the small Tesco in the next hour or so. Not having a delivery means we need a few more bits than usual, but nothing heavy thank goodness.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning chaps.
Good heavens, the sun's just come out. We are due to soar to the dizzy heights of 19c today.
MrsC is at her Aunts. Hopefully they will make some progress on her Uncle J's money (long story). Her Aunt Sally lost her husband (H) recently, so it's a delicate thing.
Afterwards I'm dropping some stuff off at the local clothes bank, taking our prescriptions in and other bits and bobs.
Is Edward coming along OK Osc?
Have a nice day everyone.

Afternoon all, I’m late on parade today. I was having bloods done at 10.45 (fasting, I was very hungry!) but I was awake early so decided to head off to a nearby shopping centre to get a couple of things, then go to the surgery as it is quite close. On the way home I got some fish.

Edward finally seems to be getting better although weak and washed out. A better night last night, although he still spent part of it in a chair as his joints are sore when in bed. Then he decided to have a shower at 4am  At least it was his decision, I was going to insist he had one today anyway. When I got home here about 30 minutes ago, he was fast asleep but has woken since and says he will get up shortly. I might have a snooze in my chair this afternoon, as I’m pretty tired. First I need to get the fish in the freezer and then see if Edward wants some lunch. Taking it easy for the rest of the day and will catch up on h/work tomorrow when I don’t have to go anywhere.
