Sun is out, also the wind - again  Not feeling quite so strong as yesterday, but by 3.00, will be another hooley

Off to Ourique after coffee, do get the shopping out of the way. Back for breakfast and then really must put some small plants in pots, ready for autumn and to give to friends.

Hope E Is a lot better this morning Osc xx

Hello and good morning everyone

Jan, hope you get the plants sorted.
Ally enjoy the warmth on our behalf. It's decidedly autumnal here in the mornings; night time temps are between 9 - 12 so not very warm at all. Same as Cruiser we had rain yesterday evening and overnight but the sun now trying to come out and I gather is meant to stay out..

I've not posted for the past few days sorry!. I wasn't online over the long weekend except to do my neighbours Sainsbury's shop and place an Ikea order for myself and yesterday I just didn't get there :( - so loads to catch up on
Working from home today, meaning the usual mix of work and pootle. Have a dentist appointment this afternoon - just a check up so keeping fingers crossed all is OK (it feels like it is). The next three weeks are going to be busy and I'll be in the office a minimum of three / four days every week so making the most of today and Friday (tomorrow is office day).

Have a lovely day everyone x

Edited to add - Osc, just catching up re E; glad he's on the mend. Hope you both had a better nights sleep and both feeling more human today x

Morning peeps.
We've had rain, cloud and sun so far.
I hope the cold goes away Saundra and that both the E's are improving. Also Jan's sore eye.
MrsC and I are going out to an Italian restaurant this lunchtime and afterwards I'll try and alter our landline to the new digital service.
Have a lovely day everyone.

Morning all :D

Nice and sunny 8-)

Hope you feel better soon Saundra xx
How's Edward today Osc?

When we got back from shopping yesterday 2 letters had arrived for me. One to say my op date is 25th Sept as originally arranged. although there is a big paragraph warning that it could be cancelled if they have an emergency, but that's standard these days. Also a letter with a date for an updated pre op assessment.

Then later in the afternoon my sister phoned. They are in Ireland at the moment. She had a nasty accident on Saturday and broke a shoulder bone, she also has 7 stitches above her eye where she hit her head. She spent over 5hrs in A&E. Apparently the shoulder didn't need surgery, but she has to wear a sling and is in a lot of pain. As for the stitches, Bob my BIL has been told how to remove them, but he says that won't be a problem he's done it for the dogs!! They've decided to carry on with the holiday, Sue will have to take it easy for a while but she's determined to make the best of it. Must admit I'm a bit worried, they have a packed itinerary so lots of travelling. If she finds it too much I'm going to suggest she gets here earlier and has a few extra quiet days to recuperate before the next stage. After us she's off to Croatia, they plan to tour round in a car and there's a cruise thrown in along the way. She's been really looking forward to it, so it would be a shame if she's done in before they get there.

Haven't looked at the forecast yet, but if this weather stays nice I'll drive over to the cliff top for Ed to have a walk before lunch. I'll try not to throw him in Crommers

Hope you all have a good day xx

That's a lovely thought about letting your sister rest up at your place Jen.
