Morning Ally and all, it’s raining so I’ll wait for it to stop before walking Bill.
I’ll have to, no way will he go outside in this

No big plans today apart from hoovering and cleaning the bathrooms, and there are two new episodes of The Morning Show on Apple to be watched later tonight.

Tom’s school had a very sad and difficult day yesterday, one of the Year 9s (aged 13) was killed in an accident while cycling to school. Tom was really shaken up as the boy is in one of his classes, he said that the boy’s friend was cycling with him so witnessed it and by bad timing one of the school buses full of kids saw it too. It’s heartbreaking :(

Anyway, have a good day everyone x

Good Morning Thursday

Morning everyone

A lovely morning, which will soon turn not so nice, with rain for most of the day. Warm ish at 30C.

Will go down and finish off bagging up the lavender, possibly pop down for a coffee, when taking the bags to the bins.

Grumpy is under instructions to clean the inside of the windscreens on both cars and put the netting around the new car port. Might not have a roof yet, but at least we can put a car in it

Down to the Algarve this afternoon, to see the eye doc, collect Grumpy's new reading glasses and pop into Iceland. Mitch has given me a list of stuff and I'l pick up some things for us too

Pit stop at the bar on the way back - well, we'll be passing it  8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody,

It has been raining and there are still some greu clouds. But the sun is trying to come out. It is 20C.

Am going to have my feet Checked. It is one of the checks I have done as I am diabetic. I also have a pedicure every thre months which I have to pay for.

Then going to the local Hos[ice to give a donation, saves postage and another couple of errands.
Back home will do some ironing this afternoon.

Saundra, Hope your leak is easily fixed. We had one from the shower. It was the seal between the tray and the side panel had broken. Just needed new
sealant.

Have a good day everybody.

Hello and good morning all

Jo, that is just so so sad, the poor family of the boy; and as for the lad that was with him and saw it all, it doesn't bear thinking about - hopefully there is lots of support for him. 13 is a tough enough age, but to then have to deal with this - not easy.

Ally, enjoy the breakfast meet up
Saundra, good luck with it all - do you have someone that can help you empty the cupboards and pack it away so it's not too much in your way. Fingers crossed everything is sorted asap so you can have your kitchen back to normal
Cruiser, hope you get everything done you want to get done, busy day for you.

Day 4 of 4 working in the office today; thankfully not a busy day so all good, but will admit I'm looking forward to working from home tomorrow and not having to set the alarm for 5.30am! I met up with a train buddy this morning - haven't seen her since July so it was nice to natter and catch up.

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

Jo that's so sad.
Enjoy brekkie Ally.
That's a lot of work for you Saundra.
Hope the foot check goes well Cruiser, mine's usually done in Jan/Feb.
4 days on the trot in the office Ria, no wonder you're looking forward to tomorrow.

We didn't get out for a walk yesterday, sods law the prescriptions didn't turn up until teatime. Off out to Westwood Cross and M&S in the next hour or so.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning all, another nice autumn day here but we have a yellow rain warning from 6pm for 24 hours. I decided I didn’t fancy going to dance practice this morning, I think Edward is secretly glad as he is watching the golf from Wentworth. His scan appointment arrived, and wouldn’t you know, it’s for Saturday week when we are going away for the weekend  So I’ll need to phone them to rearrange it. Kellie will be here after school, she walks down on her own now. Otherwise no particular plan, just normal stuff and I might do some ironing this morning.

Jo, that is so sad - Michael is 13 and cycles to school with a friend, I can’t even imagine the horror of it :(
