"Legal reasons"

Postby cromwell » 21 Oct 2023, 15:38

Now here is a strange, and rather disturbing one.

Somewhere in britain a terrorist attack has been committed by an asylum seeker who said he was doing it "For Palestine".

And that's it. The media (the Telegraph and Mail have brief details) are not allowed to report on this because of "legal reasons".

So that's where we are at. Not good, is it?

I can find nothing about this on either the Mail or Telegraph online sites, or anywhere else. Do you have links Cromwell?

It's hard to comment if there is no proof.

I can't find anything on line either WM, but it's on the front of the paper edition of Saturday's Daily Telegraph.

i saw something about it, I think it was yesterday. There was the suggestion that it could not be published for fear of promoting copy cat attacks.

Meds, that is a weak excuse from the media. These people will not be reading the papers, they will be in their own little echo chambers on UnSocial Media sites geeing each other up.

Beside that, if these people are operating in my area I would like to know so that I can avoid certain places and situations.

That is a very poor excuse though. Using that logic news of every terrorist attack can be suppressed - and probably will, as far as possible.
OK, it's very difficult to supress news of a bomb being set off, but occasions like the one where three gay men were murdered in a Reading park by a man who came to the UK from Libya in 2012 - yes, news of that sort of attack could well be suppressed in future.

If you Google "UK terrorist attack linked to Gaza" there is a little bit on line.

Plenty about it on X.

An Islamist terrorist murdered a man in Hartlepool, England last Sunday in an act of revenge for “Israel killing kids in Gaza

70-y-old Terrence Carney was on his way to an ATM when he was stabbed by a Moroccan asylum seeker who arrived to the U.K. in 2020 on a dinghy

The Telegraph has learned that the authorities have chosen so far not to tell the British public that the terror attack in Hartlepool was perpetrated in response to the Hamas-Israel war according to the Moroccan suspect.

The terrorist is 44-year-old Ahmed Alid who was staying at a hostel provided by the British authorities for asylum seekers.

He murdered Terrence right next to the hostel.

As far as I can see they have decided not to tell us because it was carried out by an illegal immigrant living in an asylum centre.

Stranger and stranger.

There were initial reports that a 70 year old local man had been stabbed to death by a resident of an asylum hostel.
I suppose the restrictions were placed after the man confessed it was done to avenge Gaza, or whatever.
