Sunny and forecast 25°.
Showers due around 8pm so that'll save turning the sprinklers on.

I'm off for a walk shortly.

Conor's flying to Scotland today for a week with Lucia and her family. First stop Edinburgh.

We've got roast chicken, salad and wedges for dinner and TV tonight including a new series of the wonderful Planet Earth.

That was an interesting walk!

During my 10kms:

Helped an elderly gentleman across a road.

Only to get to the other side for him to tell me he'd left his stick by the lamp post.

So back I go for said stick.

Then across again.

Waved a cheery adois then I carried on.

Saw two pigeons fighting.

Found a euro coin.

Then I took the wrong turning home adding an extra .5km to my walk.

I'm now having coffee.

Grey, cloudy, windy and wet. We're on orange alert for wind and rain. Just getting the tail end of it, hopefully. The rest of the country will be suffering.

Not a lot going on, lazy morning so far, only just got up will have a cooked breakfast and then roast chicken later.

Only 13C again.It hasben raining but the sun is coming out with lots of blue sky.
If it stays like this may wash the car. Not ben done for over two weks. Then just pootling.

Morning all, it’s nice and sunny here. We had a bit of a lie on this morning (for us, that usually means an extra half hour or so ) and I haven’t had my shower yet. No plan whatsoever for the day, maybe putting washing in and out of the washing machine. Edward is planning to teach me a couple of new dances he was working on while I was away. We have visitors next weekend so might do a bit of menu planning. Strictly results show this evening and a new Irish drama series set in New Zealand.

Roast chicken for dinner and another lazy day. We don't know how many are coming for dinner today yet.
I've ordered some half bottles of wine; they will come in handy as sometimes a whole bottle is too much.

We've had a nice lie in and I'm sitting here with a face mask on, not a pretty sight Lots of things to do and will be packing my bag again for tomorrow. Keeping busy, my tummy is doing cartwheels, soooo nervous.
