The Great British Kitchen Cupboard Clear-out.

... as mentioned on the Health board.

So what have we here? Let's start with the diamond hard solid block of icing sugar - date unknown! Now then, is this quinoa, cous-cous, polenta or sand? What vintage are these herbs and spices in the mini Kilner jars? And when and why did I buy 1ltr of virgin olive oil when I hate the stuff? Ah well, it has never been opened and I cannot find a best before date so it is probably good for a few more years. ;)

There are too many other things to mention but I bet that the bottle of fish sauce with a BBD of Nov 2010 will be the winner.

I had some herbs and spices in mini Kilner jars which I ended up chucking/recycling. Think they were a Christmas present, one of those Boots sets.

Not food, but me and Joe were going through my Dad’s pile of bank statements etc last night (he asked us to, we weren’t being nosey) and in amongst them was a booklet of the Midlands football fixtures.
From the 1969/70 season

Joe was happy to take it off his hands, he found is fascinating
