Morning everyone

Sunny, but cloudy. And hopefully a dry day.

Will get some washing done in the hope it does stay dry ;)

Off to Ourique this morning, need to pay for our house insurance and will pick up a prescription. Pit stop for coffee on the way back.

Won't be able to do anything outside, far too wet, so will try and find something to do.

Have a good day everyone ,whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s a very nice morning here, and also a bank holiday so I don’t have mobility class. Edward has gone to play golf and I’ll sort out the spare room. I’ve a load in the washing machine, so I’ll hang that on the drying rail, won’t chance hanging it on the line as there may be rain later. I’ll try and get out for a walk around the block. I’ve some “secretarial” stuff to do over the next couple of days too.

Hello and good morning you lot and everyone

Ally, enjoy the walk! Seems like your temperatures have dropped quite a bit and quite quickly?
Jan, hope you get everything sorted in town. As for inside jobs.... reading, snoozing and chilling come to mind?
Saundra, it is hard to part with things so well done you for doing it x (((hugs)))
Osc, I've got to do washing as well, but just don't have the space to dry more than one load at a time inside. At the moment the drying rail is occupied by some rugs that are taking longer to dry than the other stuff. I do have a tumble drier but am trying to avoid using that as much as I can

Monday - work from home day for me so the usual mix of work and pootle. Am doing a clear out as well - tried to sell a few things for not a lot of money but it just wasn't shifting so eventually just thought sod it and am now giving it away. Steam mop I no longer use and my old vacuum cleaner. A friend has given me her newer (quieter!!) one and I really don't need, nor have the space, for two. A few other things that need sorting and chucking

Have a lovely day all x

Good morning everybody.

It has been raining and rhere are still grey clouds. it is only 15C.
Went for the paper at the little Tesco store when I got up. But papers had not been delivered. Waited a few minutes before oming home to have my breakfast, a bowl of cereal.
Then down to the surgery. I had ordered a repeat prescription last week. But when i went to the chemist on Saturday morning they had not got it. One of th staff I saw at the surgerey said
the prescription had been sent to another chemist, not the one I usually use. So I was given a new paper copy of my repeat prescription which I have taken to the chemist I normaly
use. Should be reaady on Wednesday.
Back home a two mugs of tea before making four phone calls and sending one email.
Now it is time for lunch and a read of the paper.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all :D

Wet again

The gutter frame is finally arriving sometime this morning, I had a call from the home visit physio who wasn't happy it was left at the hospital, 30mins later a call came through to say it would be delivered, coincidence, methinks not. Also had a text reminding me we have dental appointments booked for this Wednesday. Rang them to rearrange, the earliest date available is in August next year!! Obviously we can ring if there's an emergency. I'm not surprised, people are struggling to even get on a list these days.

Up again in the night, but did get back to sleep till just after 8am. Poor Ed looks extra tired, he spends most of the day running around like the house is on fire bless him. Don't think I'll be able to reduce the pain meds anytime soon, just hoping I haven't done any damage, should know more when I go back for an xray next Monday.

Hope you all have a good day xx

That Manuel is such a difficult person to get hold of

I even tried ringing his mobile, but it went straight to message. So I'll try again tomorrow, as I'm going into Ourique anyway.

Met Linda and Gary, had a quick coffee and will be meeting them at the bar later, as they want to catch Riccardo and don't know what he looks like  and we do

Three loads of washing done and dry and we put six small trees in bigger pots and ditto with 5 tomato plants :D

Grumpy back washed the pool and it is now a lovely shade of green  :o
