Why am I not a girly girl??

One of the nephews in Wales is getting married on the 29th and I finally thought I’d found a dress to wear. It looked okayish. Then came the shoe problem. It needed heels and pretty high ones at that, and I’m a Converse or boots wearer. I can’t walk in heels although I own a couple of pairs, but I bit the bullet and ordered a new pair with 3” block heels. They came an hour ago, I walked around the bedroom in them, soooo uncomfortable so I took them off and repackaged them to return.

Back to the dress. I don’t like it now. That’ll be returned tomorrow and I’ve ordered a selection to try from M&S.
