Goodmorning Ally and anybody else who is up.

It is only 13C here with grey clouds so I don't think it will get much warmer.

Just a day pootling. Will start writing the Christmas cards. Have sent one to America and had an email to say it has arrived.

Will also get the decorations down from the loft. Will put them up next Saturday. Have seen a large- about 6ft high Father Christmas outside one house. Just wonder how long
it will stay inflated. Can see some yobo going along and letting it down.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning everyone

Sunny through the mist  The aliens in the garden looked quite spooky earlier

Nice long lie-in, coffee and reading. Nothing we can do outside until it warms up and dries off.

Bacon butties for breakfast and roast chicken for dinner, with working down in the field inbetween. Grumpy will start making the bonfire and I'll carry on digging up the bushes.

Beer in the sun, before it gets too cold to sit outside.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s cold and grey.

I’ve done some ironing so I'm off for a walk on the Chase with John and Bill in a minute.

Gammon, veg and parsley sauce for lunch. No other plans apart from keeping warm.

Have a good day all.

Morning all, it’s a grey day here. Another lazy morning so far, but I need to get moving. My brother is coming to stay for two nights but his room is all ready, just need to put a hot water bottle in the bed. I did all the ironing yesterday, so I just need to clean our bathroom today. Otherwise a quiet enough day.

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast

Got the lights on the tree, will finish decorating it this afternoon and hopefully get the rest of the house done too. Naughty Ed has already turned the lights on, he just can't resist

Had a problem with Ocado yesterday, no sausages!! Anyway I rang them straightaway and apparently it was a fault at the warehouse so they will be delivered later this afternoon. Zero delivery has finished, but they will deliver free of charge as it was their fault. Also expecting a delivery from Amazon sometime today, it's 2 packs of Lambertz Dark Chocolate Lebkuchen (gingerbread), yummy. We discovered them a couple of years ago and always order them for Christmas now.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon everyone :)

It's a dark and damp day here today, such a contrast to yesterday's bright frosty one. We had breakfast at Portivo's then nipped to see D. We've had lunch, the chicken casserole I cooked overnight in the slow cooker. Waiting for some bedding to finish in the dryer. We're binge watching Two Doors Down now, the Scottish comedy, it's hilarious

Love to all xxx
