Off to Manchester later, John’s coming off the subs bench and using Joe’s ticket. We’ll pick up some fish and chips on the way home for us and Tom I think.

It was a wet start here, and a noisy one as Chris-next-door’s car alarm went off! It was still going when Mick walked past him walking Fraggle - Chris scratching his head, full of apologies - “It’s never done this before….”

We’re in Portivo having breakfast, and will see D afterwards. Planning on putting up the tree this afternoon, and I need to nip into B&Q on the way round as my hanging basket by the front door has died, so I want a festive one.

The weather is very changeable here. It was chucking it down this morning, then we've had some sun and now it's looking dark again.

We have paid Jim's bills (he fell over again and has been in hospital) and done a bit of shopping. I don't think we'll be going far for the rest of today.
