Good morning everybody.

A cool 13C when I got up. It is creeping up now I have got he CH on. Going to the bank and some other errands before coming home.

Have deceided i am not putting a tree up. It would mean buying a new one and I don't like any I have seen. But got lights round the bay window and the front door.
Also some other decorations in the lounge with lots of crads on display.

Have a good day everybody.

Good morning you three and everyone.

Crommers that's an early start for you
Ally, enjoy the walk. I put my tree up yesterday morning and will be decorating today (was out all of yesterday). But it's a real tree so I always like to leave it a day or so before decorating so the branches can settle after being wrapped up like a sausage
Cruiser, makes sense - and also chances are you'll pick up a nice one in the sales once Christmas is over :D . Pretty lights and decorations do make such a difference so glad you've got those

WFH day for me today; as said will be decorating my tree and getting some other bits out. Dinner at Karl and Nadine's this evening - so will be going shopping for a few bits as they're both working

Have a lovely day all xxx

Morning everyone

Lovely and warm 8-)

Woke up at 4.00, thinking about this blasted court case and what we can say later when we see Nuno. Have written it down, so we don't forget.

Then went back to sleep   Not long up.

Washing being done and we're going down to the gates to try and work something out. Grumpy doesn't think we can get the gates moved, without problems with the ground, I think they can, so we'll have a look.

Not seeing Nuno until 5.00, so we might have a beer or three afterwards. if the other unpleasant person in the area is there, we won't stop at the bar, but head home.

My tree will be going up on 23rd, that's soon enough for me

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s a bright sunny one here after such a wet weekend. The golf course is open again having been closed since Thursday, so Edward has headed off to play. I have mobility class at 11am and after that, I’ll go to the nearest bookshop to get a particular book for Michael, I will also pop into the supermarket to get some milk. I have one wash in the machine, another ready to go in. I’ve made a list for the week, and also a list of the presents already bought so I can see for whom I still need inspiration. Need to tidy around before I get on with the rest of the day.

Afternoon all, the weather can’t make it’s mind up today.

I walked Bill before it got light, he was desperate for a proper off lead walk. It was too wet on Saturday and yesterday he came Christmas shopping with us (plus it was raining). He does like a walk around the shops though, lots to see and lots of attention from people.

I’ve done three loads of washing this morning because the weather apps said 0% chance of rain in our area. Hmmmm  It started just as I finished hanging the first load out and has been on and off since.

The festoon lights went up on our close on Saturday. We’d all wondered if they were going to happen this year. The family who power them in their garage have moved to Cornwall but they’ve not sold the house and the husband still uses it on and off as he still has work up here. They couldn’t be plugged in anywhere else due to each length of lighting being a specific length. They look lovely though, we’ve all got lights in trees and icicle lights etc it still looked dull without them.

Cruiser, my Dad doesn’t want to bother with a tree but I’m going to make sure he’s got his fibre optic one in the window so it looks at least a little bit festive. He’s never been a fan of Christmas though.

Have a good day all :)

Evening everyone :)

I've been out all day, to Cribbs Causeway, a big shopping centre just outside Bristol. Went with Emma, we just fancied a change from Gloucester :) Got a few Christmassy bits, including a free bottle of Prosecco on my Sparks card 8-)

Put some washing on before I left the house, Mick put it through the dryer later, and I nipped into the local P.O. on the way out of town, to post my cards. That's a job out of the way ;)

Love to all xxx
