We've just eaten the last of our mince pies, Saundra! :D

In fairness, Mrs O and I tend to declare Christmas "open" around the first week in December, and we buy in lots of stuff to "try out" before the Holiday itself.

We bought a Christmas "Radio Times" today - £5.50  We do it every year, it's a bit of a ritual, but I honestly don't know why we bother, because there's never anything interesting on the telly ......

We're off down to the Algarve tomorrow and I have a list

24 mince pies as well a horseradish sauce, for Mitchell, and for Tina, sprouts, parsnips and swede. Can't get them up here and we will, no doubt, pay an arm and two legs for them, but she wants them, as she's doing a very special dinner for her Portuguese in-laws. (they'll probably hate it, but hey ho  )

When I was a lot younger, still at home, we always got the Radio Times for Christmas, the only time we bought it

Feeling saintly here as I currently have several chocolate oranges (which I LOVE) and two tins of Celebrations (pressies for the boys) stashed away, and I haven't given in to temptation

I like chocolate Oranges. But will not buy them til next week. Will have a couple of pieces eachday over the Christmas period.

No mince pies. Will have Christmas pudding with brandy cream. I have two small ones so one on Christmasday.

Don't buy the RT. The programmes are in the DM Week end and in the DM every day.

Must get some wine from Sainsbury's. They have one I like.

Erm, I bought an eight pack of Fox's brandy snap biscuits. The box showed them filled with cream - what a con.

They were just the biscuits - no filling. Fill them yourselves why don't you!

So, as I had no cream nor vanilla nor enthusiasm I just ate the damned things.

That's me.
