We had a lovely day, Zoe and the boys rang in the morning and then Michelle video called in the afternoon so we had a nice chat with her and Hannah. Ed's first attempt at cooking Christmas dinner went really well. I sat on the perching stool in the kitchen to help him with the timing of the veggies etc. I did feel for him, when I do it he helps with the draining while I concentrate on the actual cooking, bless him he had to manage it all on his own. It was a triumph, very yummy
Another quiet day for us, Ed's going to attempt my bubble and squeak to go with cold turkey and ham. I'll have picillili and he'll have pickled onions to go with his. Expect we'll open another of bubbly
