Good morning everybody.

We have had rain in the night but it has stopped . Still grey clouds so we may have some more toay.

Will be ironing this morning. Then just pootling. Am waiting for my grand-daughter to phone me. i ave sent her a present. She didn't
know what it was. It has arrived as the courier firm--not Evri- have sent me an email to say it had been delivered.

Have a good day everybody

Morning Cruiser, morning everyone

We had sun earlier, but it's now hiding behind some funny looking clouds, look like cotton wool :?

General pootling inside for me today. Small amount of ironing to get through and I'll probably take the decorations down. The tree disappeared yesterday and Grumpy still hasn't noticed

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, we had rain all night but it seemed to be clearing when we got up, however the clouds have closed in again and I’d say we will have showers all day. We are going into town, first to see a John Lavery exhibition in the National Gallery, then maybe a potter around the sales. I’m putting off the ironing until tomorrow! Just need to tidy around before we go.

hello all and good morning (just)

sorry for the lengthy radio silence; I have my niece with me which is absolutely lovely, but does mean not having had time to log onto the laptop (and I detest using my phone for typing longer messages). Loads of posts to read through and catch up on so will be doing that in a bit (my niece is spending a few hours in the library in Woking).

Hope everyone had a wonderful and peaceful Christmas? I'll probably be offline again now until the 2nd when my niece leaves; and then my normal daily routines will be back :Hi: :Hi:

have a lovely day all xxxx

Morning all :)

One minute sunny, the next dull :?

I hope Becky gets off okay today Kaz.

Busy day for us, I should say Ed will be doing most of the work while I direct operations getting ready for tomorrow  Zoe and co are planning to be here by 10.30ish so by the time we've all opened our pressies round the tree we can have an early lunch. She wants to be able to relax and enjoy the day and avoid having to drive home in the dark, I totally understand, Dettling Hill isn't nice in daylight, extra scary at night!!

Hope you all have a good day xx

Started off nice here too Saundra but grey and rainy now.

Afternoon all, it’s been pouring down since mid morning.

I’m home alone, with my furry shadow of course, until Saturday morning. John and Joe were dropping Tom at the station before driving to Wales. I then walked Bill before the rain started. Once back home I took the trees down and packed everything away then hoovered through.
I’m now starting the jigsaw Tom gave me for Christmas while binge watching Gavin and Stacey.

Tom’s just taken off from Stansted and is en route to Sofia.

Kaz, I hope Becky gets away okay. ((((Kaz))))
BTW the crumble topped mince pies are very nice

Have a good day all
