Good morning.

Another beautiful warm day forecast. 8-)

Going for a Guadalmar walk with Don then plan to do absolutely nothing for the rest of the day but catch up on TV stuff starting off with the Caroline Aherne tribute programmes. :?

There will also be reading and eating of chocolate.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

We're sat above the mist again  But the sun is out, so another warm day, as long as the clouds stay away.

Off to Ourique soon, to do the supermarkets, post office and chemist.

Back for breakfast and put the washing out. Then a wander around the garden, admiring the height of the weeds   and feed all the plants, before tomorrow's rain.

Leftovers from the bbq for tonight's dinner.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Just been on the news, a driver was clocked at 176km on a road near Evora, where the speed limit was 70km. Think he's lost his licence 8-)

Good morning everybody.

Grey clouds everywhere but no rain yet. It is 14C. Decied to get the paper when I go to town later. I need some veg and fruit.

Still got meat which I bought before Christmas. It is in the freezer. Itake a piece out the day I am going to cook it.

Janb, I lioke the idea of looking at weeds. Some of them do have lovely flowers.

Have a good day everybody.

Ally that sounds nice, we've finished the Christmas goodies here - just as well as I have eaten loads!   xx

Jan, you know what they say - weeds are just flowers in the wrong place...... 8-) :x xx

Hope it stays dry for you, Cruiser, so fed up with the rain here  xx

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all.
Off for a nurse appointment soon. Eliza is here. She heard me singing in the shower and thought it was very funny.
Grey and miserable here too and like you Kaz, fed up of the rain. The centre of York was flooded again the other day.
We may go into Pontefract for a few bits later on.
Have a nice day everyone.

Morning all, it’s wet and miserable here. We’re going to the cinema to see the Anthony Hopkins film One Life, going to an early showing. Before we go I will pop down to the hairdresser and see if I can get an appointment for a blow dry on Saturday, we are going to a ball that night. We have a couple of bits to get in the supermarket, there are two in the shopping centre where the cinema is. Back to watch the first programme in the Post Office drama, ready to watch the second one afterwards.

Kaz, lucky Becky in the sunshine! We’ve finished the Christmas goodies too, now I just need to get back to normal eating!

sigh.... typed a long reply and then accidentally shut down my browser.....

Early start for me today - left at 6am to get my niece to the airport. Back home to an empty house which is never nice, but as I've only got a one bed flat and Leonie was sleeping in the lounge it's nice to have my space back - but I'll miss the company a lot! Absolutely miserable weather here - same as Kaz and Crommers; rather sick of it now. It's back to work today for me so the usual mix of work and pootle. Meeting Nadine for lunch later today so that's a nice break

Jan, that's quite an impressive speeding - wowzer. What was he thinking?
Kaz, please ask Becks to send over some sunshine!
And everyone else, hope you have a fab day doing all the bits and bobs you are

Wet and very windy here

Glad Becky's having a good time, Australia is amazing, How long is she there for Kaz?

Poor Ed got wet and wind swept going round for the papers, looking out of the window I'm more than happy to stay inside in the warm. No plans for today, will make it up as we go along..........

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all, it’s pouring down.

Got Bill out for an early walk before the rain started, it’s so muddy though. It’s not pleasant walking at the moment. John’s back at work today, Tom goes back on Monday and Joe’s back on Friday, although that’s his work from home day.

Went to Ikea last night with Tom, he wanted an idea of what he could afford furniture wise as he seems set on buying a house this year and he got some good ideas, and saw things he liked which were affordable. Actually thought we were going to get out without buying anything but just as we walked towards the exit I spotted the Christmas tree I’d liked. They’re plastic rather than green tinsel and look more realistic but I couldn’t get away with buying another when the two green ones we use are still in good condition and there’s a gold tinsel one packed away in the garage eaves too….but they were reduced from £29 to £5 so I got one and bought one for Tom too as when he saw them he said he’d need one when he gets his own place

I’ve tidied around, hoovered and ironed, took the wreath off the door before the rain started so it was still dry and got the lights and beads off the tree by the front door. Tom’s doing some work and Joe’s due back from Amanda’s any time now as she’s going back to Poole today.

Sounds like Becky’s having a good start to her time there Kaz!

Have a good day all!
