Afternoon all, it’s been beautifully bright and so very cold all day

I walked down to town this morning, only really needed to go to Home Bargains but had a mooch in The Works on the way to the bus station and bought a 1000 piece jigsaw for £1 in their sale. I went to get the 10am bus back home, only to find that the 9.30 one was still in the stop as it was having a quick repair. It was full of passengers. I could see on the app that the bus I’d gone for was approaching the bus station just as the broken down 9.30 one was ready to go so the driver opened to door to see if me and the other woman waiting in the stop wanted to get on so we did and he told us we didn’t have to pay (probably expecting the bus to break down again ) so that was a bit of a win

Off to the Odeon tonight to see One Life.

Jen, do take it easy and be careful x

Have a good rest of the day all :D

Afternoon everyone :)

Well, we've been busy. House valued, contract signed and offer made on the one we want

Before that we've been to the dentist - all good - shopping, and round to D's who is not too good again :? We're starting to get a bit concerned :?

Out to Pilates later, well wrapped up as it's Baltic out there, the frost has stayed all day!

Jen, fingers crossed for your physio session tomorrow XX

Ria, that's a lovely idea :) xx

Hope Kellie is better soon, Osc xx

Saundra, snow always looks so pretty when it's fresh :) xx

Jo   xx

Love to all :) xx

Hope D is better soonest Kaz, always a worry when parents get older and not well.

Best of luck wit the move, hoping it all goes ahead xx

I went to see Drs Chris and Lucy earlier, as my arm is not too good. Couldn't see the point in going to the centro de saude when I have friends who know stuff.

As they said, they would normally deal with horses, but as I'm as strong as one, they've given me some stuff to put on the arm, a shed of of not nice stuff has since come out and all feels a lot better :Hi:

We needed to go into Ourique, to get some more salt, so bought a lovely loaf, to go with tonight's stew and tomatoes to go with the bread, some gert lush cheese and the bread for tomorrow's breakfast.

Jen, when I had both bunions done - at the same time  - it took me ages to get used to walking properly again. You just need to do what WM said, little and often, don't try and do what you used to do for several months yet. Hope tomorrow's physio helps xx
