Postby JanB » 29 Jan 2024, 07:21

Morning everyone

Just getting light, quite mild and another 20C for us.

Washing machine doing it's thing and hopefully get it out before we go.

Court day for us, well, morning. No idea how it will pan out. Will report back when we get home.

Leftover chicken and curry for dinner :Hi:

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning

Good luck Jan. Just realised I don't know why you're going to court but hope all goes ok.

22° forecast so I'm off for my walk shortly. 8-)

Meeting David at 4pm for a few beers. :D

Have a great day.

Morning all.

Good luck in court Jan.

Well, it rained here, then rained again, and now it is still raining.

Got a big tub of mushrooms for 10p just as Asda was closing yesterday but forgot to get pork loin chops so I need to go out for some in order to make jagerschnitzels for tea and the freezer.

Apart from that I'll be staying in and keeping dry.

Stay safe everyone.

Good morning everybody.

It was showing 14C when I got up. Lots of grey clouds and it has been raining as there are lots of puddles in the road.

An engineer is coming this afternoon to put some product in the CH system. This should stop mthe very small leaks which rewduces the pressure and
stops the boiler working. There is no chrge for this as it is still under warranty.

Got some phone calls to make. Want to altar my Will, get a gas engineer to come and look at some work I want done.
I am also trying to find the receipts of when I had the new kitchen fitted. Spent some time yesterday looking for them but no luck.

Have a good day everybody.

Ah, that is what my system was doing, the technician called it "breathing". There was no leak big enough to cause a drip or dampness it was just that the pressure kept dropping over many weeks and I had to keep re pressurising it. The stuff he put in was similar to what we used to use on car radiator small leaks. It worked.

Morning all, it’s absolutely miserable here, constant rain. Going to mobility class this morning, then I will see where the day takes me. Edward is not playing golf but says he has bits and pieces to do. I was trying to buy a jigsaw board online on Saturday but it wouldn’t accept my address  I’ve had about six emails since saying I left something in my cart  so I’ll be giving them a ring to sort it out. When I had the car’s NCT done a few months ago, they cautioned about two of the tyres but said there was no rush. I was going to go to the tyre place today but might leave it until tomorrow as the weather is so horrible - perhaps I’ll dig out the paperwork and ring them. On days like this, I understand why animals hibernate in winter!

Morning all.
Good luck in court Jan.
A pretty foul day here too. Very grey and raining steadily. We were going to go out for a short walk this afternoon but not as it stands.
We will go to town in a mo though, MrsC wants a calendar and some cosmetics.
Have a good day all.

Morning all :D

Damp and miserable

Good luck in court Jan, hope it goes well for you xx

Slept in right through till 9.15am, think I'm catching up on all the lost sleep, poor Ed definitely isn't complaining lol I ordered a small gammon last week but wasn't up to eating much so decided to get it out of the fridge this morning and give Campfire Stew a go in the slow cooker. It's easy peasy to do, but goodness knows what it will be like, fingers crossed it isn't too bad.

Hooe you all have a good day xx
