Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sun and clouds for us today after a fair amount of rain yesterday :D Not that warm at 17C.

Cleaning for me this morning. And I might just ring and make an appointment for tomorrow, for Grumpy to see a physio. Will see what he feels like when he gets up. The doctor comes down from Beja, once a month, to treat people who can't get up there. Didn't know anything about it until yesterday and Jose was telling us.

A quiet day, after yesterday's shenanigans

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Hello you two and everyone - good morning and happy Friday

Hope you had / are having a lovely breakfast Ally; and as always, enjoy the beer and tapas this evening
Jan, fingers crossed for the physio - such a palaver for you. Enjoy your quiet day - yesterday sounds like huge fun was had.
Kaz, how is D this morning?

Well usual Friday wfh day for me; and what a glorious sunny morning it is - just beautiful. Got one load of washing in the machine and another to go on straight after; then I need to disconnect it, ready for collection later this afternoon. And I can hang washing outside today to dry - yay!!!!

Have a lovely day all x

Was bending down to get the watering can and BANG!!!

We'll cope, somehow

Morning all :D

Nice and sunny 8-)

Enjoy breakfast with the twins Ally.
Sounds as though you both need to be careful Jan xx
It might be sunny, but I don't think the washing would dry too well here Ria.

Yesterday spent quite a bit of time on the phone booking overdue appointments, Blood tests, mine Hba1c, Ed's to check his iron levels. Both should have been done in November, but my op meant they had to be delayed. A diabetic eye test for me and a rescheduled Hydro session now my cough is finally cleared. My empty diary is quickly filling up lol

We're off out to San Clu to have our postponed Valentine's lunch. They do a fishy Friday deal so I expect we'll have that, can't beat fish and chips by the sea. Looking forward to being out after being stuck indoors all week.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon.
A very mild day here.
Ouch Jan. Go steady. Enjoy your fish and chips Jen.
We have done the weekend shop.
MrsC and her sister are dropping their uncle's shopping off in a bit.
She saw King Charles the first today, btw!
Walking down the street in Cavalier garb, big hat, feather etc.
Apparently he's some sort of student of drama.

I'll keep an eye out for Oliver Cromwell and the New Model Army; you never know who's about!
Have a good one everybody.

Goodness, I’ve got some catching up to do.

I’ve been busy and keep forgetting to pop in. John and Tom have been in Belgium for a few days this week, visiting Brussels and Bruges. They’ve loved both places so the plan is for me and John to go some time, maybe later in the year. Tom’s house purchase is all go, the mortgage application is in and the solicitor is working on the legal stuff. We went over for a second viewing last weekend, then Monday morning we had to take some documents into the solicitor over Dudley which was a rush as they were leaving for Belgium via London and Eurostar in the afternoon. He originally wasn’t planning on purchasing until the Summer but saw this house and felt it was too good to miss so we’ve given him some money, £2000, so that he’d have his deposit ready. Because we’ve done that we’ve had to sign a few forms, write a letter, take two pieces of ID each into the solicitor and provide three months worth of our bank statements plus a bank statement showing the money leaving our account and Tom’s had to provide one showing it landing in his. It’s such a palaver (especially spending 1 hour 15 mins on the phone to Barclays to ask for an up to date statement) and an invasion of privacy.

I’ve also binge watched One Day on Netflix. Really enjoyed that, and it’s one of my favourite books.
