Good Morning Tuesday

Postby JanB » 20 Feb 2024, 08:10

Morning everyone

Lovely morning 8-) Going to be a warm one at 24C, but down to 9C at night

Done my nursey duties and the washing is out.

We're off on a jolly today :Hi: :Hi: Wine tasting at a private vineyard the other side of Castro Verde and then lunch in one of our favourite restaurants in Castro. David is driving us and Chris and Lucy are leading, as they know where it is. Apparently very remote.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning Jan and everyone
Oooh, that sounds like a lovely day out Jan - enjoy! Portugal has some amazing wines.

A dry but nippy start to the day here; it's grey and dull. Working from home again - it's half term so relatively quiet in the office so I'm making the most of it and not commuting in. Slight change in plan yesterday so didn't get to the optometrist; so that's on the cards for today instead.

Have a lovely day all xx

Ria, same sort of weather here, after a run of beautiful springlike days :? Hope you get to your appointment today :) xx

Usual Tuesday stuff here, out for a late breakfast then round to see D. Just been messaging B, she has some phone interviews tonight, so some VV good luck vibes would be much appreciated 8-)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast

What a lovely day Jan, have fun.
Hope you get to your appointment today Ria.
Kaz good luck to B, hope the phone interviews go well.

Up quite early, waiting for a call from my GP. No idea what time, but thought it would be better if I'm actually awake. Hoping to have a walk later, depends on the call and what the weather decides to do.

Hope you all have a good day xxx

Morning all, it’s dull and grey here too. Edward has gone to play golf and my exciting day consists of cleaning the bathrooms and doing some ironing. Jan, your day out sounds like fun, enjoy it.

Good morning everybody.

I finally decided to have an upgrade on my computer. This is why I hve not been posting. I am now up and runing with Windows 11 Pro.

Cloudy here but no rain. Just going through the emails which have been sent while my PC was being upgraded. Fortunately no junk.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all - just.

Jan enjoy the wine, I know you will.

I hope the rest of you get things sorted - GP, optician, ironing...

Kaz, B looks to be doing similar to what my B did - a bit of au pair work, bar staffing, house sitting etc. till something more permanent came along. It was all in Sydney before moving to Auckland.

Ah well, banking done and gas bill paid so a bit of 'Me' time this afternoon. Ah, I forgot, the washing load to do.

Enjoy what seems like a bit of good weather.

Good afternoon.
A nice day here, quite warm and sunny.
Good luck to B, Kaz.
Jan, that sounds like a very civilised day. I hope the GP gets in touch Jen.
We have been out for a few bits and bats.
I need to get a lottery ticket for tonight. All I want is a chance to prove that winning lots of money won't ruin my character!
Have a lovely day everyone.

Afternoon all, it’s been sunny all day but it’s now clouded over and rain is due soon.

I’ve done a couple do loads od washing, there’s no ironing to do though as one load was made up of Bill’s blankets and the second was a load of towels. Went for a walk around Ikea last night with Tom.

John’s feeling a bit better today and since lunchtime he’s actually got up and is watching TV. It sounds like flu rather than a cold, he’s not one for giving in to illness and I can’t remember the last time he had a sick day apart from when he had no choice when he had Covid.

Fingers crossed that Becky gets some good news from the interviews!
