I think Saints have wobbled out of contention for automatic promotion. I think auto promotion will be Leicester and Leeds. We have a horrendous record in playoffs But I don’t think we are ready to go up. We need another year in the championship.

We can’t even beat Maidstone, we struggled against Rotherham yet our fans seem to think we can hold our own against Man City and the like.

Obviously hanging on to Kieran is a worry but Burnley bossed the championship last year but I wouldn’t say Vincent Kompany looks too clever now

Next year will be an easier push hopefully. Leeds, Leicester and possibly Southampton will be gone and in their place will be Burnley, Sheffield Utd and quite likely Luton. That said this is Ipswich who knows??
