Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sunny and warm here too :Hi:

Off to Ourique this morning, normal supermarket run, also meeting a friend to collect something, go to the chemist and also the library. Need books

Back for a pitstop for coffee and home for a late breakfast.

I'll be heading to the veggie plot, pick the last peas, cook the beetroot and pull and freeze the carrots. Will also check the broad beans, they're a bit late this year.

Grumpy is going to be pool boy. It needs a vacuum as the bottom is full of dust  and then we might, just might, get in

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.

Still a cool 14C. But the sun is out and lots of blue sky so it may get warmer if the wind stops blowing a gale.

Just housework today with possibly a bit of gardening. The grass is growing and nearly ready for another cut.

JanB, it seems strange to see you picking vegeatables as it is only spring here when we start planting seeeds.

I have several sunflower plants growing in little plant pots on the winow ledge in the kitchen. When it gets warmer I will pkant them outside.

Have a good day everybody.

We plant our veg in October Cruiser, to get the winter rain. It gets too hot in the summer and although they could be shaded, it would take too much water. And I would hate to run out of water.

We put tomatoes in about now, but in pots, where we can keep an eye on them.

Morning all, it’s quite sunny at the moment although a tad chilly.

The Amy Winehouse film we saw last night was very good, although very sad. Not sure how much was true but it’s definitely worth watching.

No plans today, John’s mom has taken a turn for the worse since yesterday afternoon so he’s waiting for an update later to see if he needs to go down there. It’s not easy for me to go because we’ve got no one who can look after Bill and give him his eye drops and do his insulin injections (or be around for my Dad either for that matter).

Anyway, have a good day all :)

Hello and good morning all

Jo, sorry to hear about John's mom - never an easy time when you're far away. (((hugs))) from me also
Ally enjoy the swim and the lunch
Jan, hope you get everything done you want to - and good luck with the pool; hope you get your first swim of the year in
Cruiser, similar weather here, but definitely not as windy as has been.
Saundra, make the most of that energy boost

Another office day for me so nothing exciting to report

have a lovely day all x

Thanks Saundra and Ria, he came home from work at 10, packed a bag and headed off. Theresa’s husband had called him, she was too upset, and said it might be a good idea to get there as soon as possible. His work are very understanding, in fact his boss has just gone through the same with his mother, except he was having to go back and forwards to Glasgow so he gets it.
