Off for a walk to end up at the hairdresser at 10 for my monthly haircut.

Yesterday I booked my accommodation for when I'm in Scotland so today I'm on the rail trail for my Motherwell to Nottingham journey.

Sunny but not warm yet. Roll on the week-end when we hit 30C

I have just spent the last 40 minutes trying to get this blasted laptop up and running Kept giving me airplane mode So I've done half my jobs this morning whilst waiting for it to turn off/on

And gone through a packet of ten tissues

Washing out, plants watered, more washing in. No idea what Grumpy will be going, I really would like some painting done, but I'll see.

A day off for me today, but a busy day. Leaving for Germany tomorrow 8am and haven't even packed and I need to sort so much stuff for the cats, it's not even funny - and all of this needs to be sorted by 1.30. The joys of having older pets that four of them are on some form of med that needs to be given. Then this afternoon I'm meeting up with Thomas and Nadine - Thomas turns 21 today so we're spending the afternoon bowling and then out for dinner. We're having a birthday BBQ for him next weekend.

Good morning everybody.

It was 15c when i got up and the sun is trying to come out.

Have been to give a blood sample. The doctor sai he wanted a new test when I saw her yesterday. I was firstin the queue when the clinic opened at 7.30 a.m
Normally you have to make an apointment but urgent cases such as mine cango at any time.
Back home, I have had my breakfast. I am now going to St Helens. Tey used to have a good ironmongers. I want some hooks which I have not been able to get
in Wigan or Chorley.

Back home will finsh weeding between the block paving and the flags this afternoon.

Morning all, it’s very dull here. Dance practice this morning, then back home for Kellie this afternoon as per usual on Thursday.

We booked this holiday yesterday, very excited about it. https://www.greatrail.com/tours/catalon ... ees/#24FRS When I phoned the York-based company to book, I dealt with a young Irish man. When it was all done, we had the usual “where are you from” conversation - turns out he is from just a few miles away and worked in our local yacht club as a teenager, he even knew exactly where we live!!
