Good morning.

Sunny and hot. 8-)

Apart from a swim and swiping my kindle pages I'm doing nothing else.

Don's in charge of the BBQ for dinner. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Breezy out there, so feeling rather cold, so the windows on one side of the house are shut

Washing to be done and that's about my lot today, a day of just gentle pootling for both of us.

Heading down to see David and Rita this afternoon, as they're heading back to Canada tomorrow, until december.

BBQ for us too, just have to decide what we'll be having.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning Ally and anybody else who is up

!6 C and the sun is out and it is getting warmer. The temperture on my CH controller showed 22C last night.
It is in the kitchen in the shade away from direct light. So it was warm.

Am taking a parcel to send to my grand-daughter. I use UPS. Always have god service with tracking information.

Then to Lidl.I want some fruit and veg and may get some salad stuff.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all :)

BBQ sounds nice, Ally :) xx

Ah, you'll miss your friends I expect, Jan xx

They're bound to be more reliable, and cheaper, than the P.O. Cruiser xx

Another sunny day here, but more cloudy though. It was cloudy last night, so no sign of the Aurora, although we stayed awake very late as the app I downloaded for it kept buzzing me  Allegedly there's a better chance tonight - we'll see :cute: :P

We're out shortly to meet our friends for breakfast, at a big garden centre near Tewksbury. I need to pick up another hanging basket, and a few plants, so I'll do that too.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all, it’s a beautiful day here, I think it’s to be the last one is the current run. We had a really lovely day yesterday - Edward, myself and Miss Osc travelled together on the train then strolled to the restaurant. We had a delicious lunch, the restaurant was busy and buzzy and there was plenty of chat and laughter around the table. To finish off before big brother and his daughters went for their train back to Cork, we went to the Shelbourne Hotel for cocktails, then they got a taxi to the station. Edward, Miss Osc, my sister and I stayed on for a while before walking back for our train home. The weather was beautiful, it was so nice to see people out and about in summer clothes enjoying the sunshine and the warmth. I have quite a few photos on FB.

We watched the Eurovision last night, hoped to see some Northern Lights before going to bed but no luck. Today will be a lazy day, we’re going for a walk around the block shortly. I might sit in the sun for a while. I have bedding on the line, if the urge takes me I might iron it when I take it in.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

Apart from doing my ankle exercises, nothing much is happening here. M&S cottage pie for dinner again, but fingers crossed I'll be up to cooking a proper Sunday dinner next week.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning all, it’s dull and humid.

We’ve spent the morning sorting out the garage and John’s done two tip runs. Tom had loads of cardboard from his move so we brought it all back here as he had nowhere to store it so that’s finally gone. It filled a quarter of the garage. I’m going to start going through some storage boxes in there over the next week to see what else can be tipped.

Amanda’s just left to drive back to Poole, she’s back in two weeks because she and Joe are running the Great Manchester Run half marathon. That’s where me and Joe are heading to shortly. Last home game of the season for Joe.

Have a good day all :)
