Aww, thanks chums :D
The vet had a good look at Jasmine and took some bloods. We are going for all the whistles and bells test and should get the results tomorrow. It looks at the moment like hyperthyroidism, but we aren't sure yet. Once we know what's what we can discuss treatment. Her eyes are also a problem and it could be that she is going/gone blind. We have thought this for a little while.
Jasmine only seems interested in drinking a little milk (which the vet said was fine at the moment) and eating teeny amounts of food. She doesn't seem particularly unhappy, just wants to be left in peace to snooze. I'm glad she isn't in any pain and she is calm. We have to keep a close watch on her breathing though because she got very stressed when she had her blood taken and the vet wants to make sure that there isn't a problem with it once she is calm. It is hard to watch her breathing though when she is tucked under her favourite hedge in the garden  Fortunately it is a nice day here, so she is quite cozy :D

I am so very glad that the vet doesn't think it's anything sinister - phew!

Hopefully the blood results tomorrow will show up exactly what is going on and you can get treatment started. If it is Hyper-T, then - I gather from some friends who have cats with it - it seems to be quite easily managed and depending what the vet prescribes (I gather there are two different types of meds usually used) it's usually a case of getting the dosage right and then taking it day by day.
