While I was out yesterday, Friday, Royal Mail tried to deliver a parcel. As I was not in they did not leave it with a neighbour as they have done
with previous deliveries.
A card which had stuck in the letter box said I could collect it from the local post office.
When I presented the card at the counter I was told that I needed ID. I asked to be shown on the car where it said that.
It was in very small print which I could not read. I had a meaningful discussion about this poor service. I had to go home and
get my passport. This has never happened before and I am going to send a letter of complaint.
As I said to the staff at the post office, I could have injure myself trying to carry the parcel.
