Good morning.

Whoopy doo. We're down to 39° today.

I'll be in the pool if anyone's looking for me.

Have a great day.

Baby Lucy arrived safely yesterday. :cute: :cute:

Morning all :)

Lovely baby news, Al :Hi: xx

It's windy here, but bright - although it feels a bit autumnal :? Not meeting J in town like I usually do on Wednesdays, my foot is sore after my appointment yesterday, so I'm going to take it easy. We have deliveries coming - underfloor heating, and a new iron - so it's as well to stay in for those anyway.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning Ally, Kaz and everyone

Warm, but not warming up that much today. Only 35C

Off to Ourique for the weekly shop this morning and we have friends coming around this afternoon, which will make a nice change.

Welcome to baby Lucy x

Our very good friend Chris is having a mastectomy this morning, so hoping all goes well with the op xx Poor Lucy is in absolutely bits. Chris is her sole carer and they've been friends for over 40 years.

Think it will be salad again for dinner

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.

It is raining on the garden, the roads and everywhere else. But not on the plain in Spain according to Ally.
It is only 18C here with lots of grey clouds.

Am going to town to get a get well card . Learnt yesterday that one of my neighbours has gone into hospital to have a hip replacement
operation. She is retired and her husband will have to look after her when she comes home.

Then it will just be a day of pootling.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, the sun is shining a bit but it’s much cooler and definitely feels autumnal. We are without landline and internet since yesterday, so I have to phone them this morning. Our phone company has a dedicated number for over 60s, so I shouldn’t have to wait too long. My mobility class is this morning instead of last Monday this week, so I’ll be going out in a while but Edward will be here all day. Got some good news yesterday, our claim for our cancelled flight from Glasgow has been passed, so a nice €750 should hit the bank account soon. This was our entitlement under EU rules. Still waiting to hear about our expenses claim but that isn’t very much.

Morning all :D

Lovely bright sunshine 8-)

Lovely baby news Ally.

Well the promised rain didn't appear yesterday afternoon, it did come over quite dark for about 30mins, but nothing came of it. Supposed to be nice and dry today, must admit it's really pleasant now the temperature has dropped a couple of degrees. I have an appointment with the hairdresser at 2pm, usual cut, colour, blowdry. Not sure if we'll drive into town or catch the bus. Ed plans to visit the barber and then take a stroll around the harbour stopping off for a pint in the pavilion as usual.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon.
Don't forget to wear a vest as temperatures plummet, Ally!
Good news about the baby. Definitely a bit fresher Kaz. I hope Chris has a good recovery Jan.
You are a good neighbour Cruiser. Sunny here too Jen.
750 euro will come in handy Osc. :)
Well we have been to Pontefract for an M&S shop. It was nice to see it busy with people.
MrsC is off to the library with her sis, I'm for the crossword.
Have a lovely day everyone.
