Warm already, so another very pleasant day.

Off to Ourique in about half an hour, get the shopping and chemist out of the way. Back for breakfast and some gentle gardening, cutting back plants that are out-growing their place.

It's a grey start here, not supposed to rain but you never know here I'm meeting my friend J for a cuppa at 10.30, then will take some flowers up to D's. She's feeling sad this week, it's the anniversary of my father's passing Mick will meet me up there. He's waiting for the window sills and skirting boards before he can do much more in the conservatory, and they're not coming until Friday.

Must do some ironing this afternoon.

Another lazy WFH day for me - I'm really abusing this quiet week, but shhhh - don't tell anyone Doing a few things at home this morning and then taking Thomas (my nephew) and another friend mini golfing; should be fun. Then a quick catch up with Nadine at their house afterwards before heading back home in time to feed neighbours cats (and obviously mine )

Nice and sunny

We haven't had a supermarket delivery this week so will be popping over to the small Tesco in the next hour or so. Need quite a few bits, nothing too heavy, but will take our trolley bags so we can pack as we go along. If the sunshine lasts expect we'll be out in the garden again this afternoon.

Looking forward to the Paralympics opening ceremony this evening.
