Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 09 Sep 2024, 05:35

Good morning.

A pleasant 32° forecast so after a swim I'll hang around the pool. :D

TV tonight.

Have a great day.

Safe travels today Kaz and good luck for Chris tomorrow. xx

Went on fb after I posted here and the memory reminder is telling me it's 10 years today our lovely Di, Kaz and myself met up in London to see the ceramic poppies.
What an absolutely fabulous day we had then hooked up with Ria and Bryan later. :P

Morning everyone

Grey, cloudy and cool this morning. Supposed to be sunny and 28C

Washing out - Grumpy decided he wants to wear jeans on Wednesday and they've been sat in a drawer for many month's - so they got a wash.

Need to sort out the car - more problems with it. Will try and contact Joaquim later.

Safe travels Kaz and best of everything for Chris tomorrow xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s a nice autumn day here. Mobility class this morning then back to clear the ironing - I’m getting the knee injection tomorrow so trying to clear the decks in case I’m sore for a couple of days. The telephone man phoned on Friday to see if our line was fixed, I said it was but there is a buzz on the line that I forgot to mention, he said he would call today and have a look. I texted him this morning to say there would be nobody here between 10.30-12. I must say, our telephone provider does offer a good service for over-65s, a special phone number and prompt reaction to issues. Right, stuff to do before I go out so I’d better get moving.

Morning all.
Grey and damp here but brightening up a bit.
Enjoy the 32c Ally and i hope the car isn't too expensive Jan. Ours is going in tomorrow for new rear discs.
Good luck for Chris tomorrow Kaz. I used to prefer ox liver Cruiser.
Osc, I hope the injection isn't too painful.
MrsC has gone for a haircut and colour today and later we are taking Jim's new kettle down.
Every time he makes a cup of tea it trips the electric circuit and we think it might be his cheap kettle that's doing it.
Have a good day everyne.

Morning all, it’s dull and breezy.

Two loads of washing have been done and most of it is out on the line. I’m hoping to get the lawns cut later when they’ve dried out after yesterday’s rain.

A quiet week this week, Joe’s currently at Birmingham Airport for a flight to Copenhagen for a work trip to the offices there. He’ll be back on Thursday.

Best wishes for Chris!

Have a good day all :)

Morning all :D

It's been tipping it down here since yesterday afternoon

Safe journey Kaz and best wishes for Chris tomorrow xx

Well it's back to normal for us, no more Olympics/Paralympics for another 4yrs. Apart from the awful opening ceremony down the Seine and the trans boxers debacle, Paris have come up trumps. Team GB have been incredible and we've loved it all.

Waiting in for Boots to deliver a prescription, but not a problem, we don't intend to venture out in this weather, it's not just raining, it's very windy too.

Hope you all have a good day xx
