Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 25 Sep 2024, 05:59

Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 30°. 8-)

Had a fantastic day yesterday. Suffice to say I conked out the second my head hit the pillow.

I'll have a swim around 9 then get ready as we're going into Torremolinos to Dealz. They sell some British stuff that I cant/won't do without  and that includes Heinz salad cream and Marmite.

We'll have a stroll along the promenade. :D

TV tonight.

Have a great day.

Hope B is enjoying her journey home Kaz and you'll soon be getting a huge hug. xx

Then just pootling.

Ally, enjoy your walk. I have walked along the front from Belemadena to Torremelinos when we stayed in Spain.

Have a good day everybody

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Damp and misty.

And a rather wet Molly  She just loves being dried off with an old towel

Off to Ourique after coffee, normal supermarket/post office/chemist stuff. Pit stop for coffee and back for breakfast.

Then hit the phone, trying to sort out the hospital and transport. If I can't get anywhere, I'll head down to Jan's. Her Portuguese is better than mine ;) Plus her Portuguese mum in law is next door, in case of any problems.

Jacqui got home yesterday  surprising us all. But Steve is on the ball and had a zimmer, a loo seat - to save her actually sitting down too far - and incontinence knickers, as she's rather slow getting around

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

(especially those meeting daughter at Heathrow ;) :Hi: )

Thanks, I can hardly wait :D :D xxx

It's definitely getting cooler, isn't it Cruiser? xx

Jan, good news that your friend is home, and I hope you get the transport stuff sorted (((x)))

We're setting off for London at around 10, going to Martin's (my ex) first to leave Fraggle with him and Harry, picking up B from nearby Heathrow at 14.10, then back to the ex's so B can see her dad and brother before we set off home :) :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Have a good day everyone :D xxx

Morning all, it looks nice enough but the temperature outside hasn’t even hit 10 degrees yet  Ironing to do today, also I need to go to the post office to take out some money. Also starting prep for going away on Friday week - you may wonder why so early, but we are busy tomorrow, busy Friday, away for the night on Saturday, back tired on Sunday after a late night Saturday, stuff going on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday next week before going away early on the Friday. So that just leaves today and Wednesday of next week, although I actually have something to do the Wednesday morning as well. I do wonder how we ever found time to work!

Kaz, I bet you can’t wait for that first big hug!

Morning all :D

Nice and bright just now, but showers forecast.

Ally, not so bothered about marmite, but definitely couldn't do without salad cream.
Cruiser hope your dental appointment goes well.
Jan good luck with all your hospital arrangements.
Kaz hope Becky's flight lands on time, you must be so excited.

We always say the same Osc
Saundra ouch, that sounds horrid, hope you're feeling a lot better now xx

We've signed up with Tesco mobile, now just waiting for our 02 service to disconect, it should happen sometime today. When that happens we just need to turn our phones off, insert the new sims and turn back on again. Should be easy, but I've read some people have problems opening the sim hatch with Samsung phones, fingers crossed it goes smoothly or we'll be back to Tesco to get them to do it for us.

Hope you all have a good day xxx

Good afternoon.
MrsC has trotted off to the library with her sister (they get to know some real gossip in there!). I've been to lidl.
Kaz, how lovely for you!
Jan, that is a cat for you!
Saundra, that sounds painful. I hope you are mostly over it now.
It was a very autumnal morning here; the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness is here indeed.
Have a lovely day everyone

Afternoon all, it’s been dry so far despite rain being forecast for earlier. No doubt it’ll appear at some point though.

The washing has dried which I didn’t expect given the forecast  so that’s ready to be ironing when I’ve posted this and finished my coffee.

Off to Manchester once Joe’s home, hoping that the M6 behaves. I know the journey home won’t be easy, we get off at 13 and it’s going to be closed between southbound between 13 and 12 after 9pm so there’s going to be congestion and we can’t get off earlier and go through Stafford because the A34 is closed overnight after 8pm too

Kaz, hope that B has had a good journey and enjoy every minute catching up with her! Safe travels back home for you all xx

Jen, I hope the swap over goes smoothly!

Hope that’s feeling a bit easier now Saundra, take care!

Have a good day all :)

Oucherino Saundra, hope its not too bad now.

Lots of misty rain, so everything - including us - got well and truly soaked.

Been in touch with the hospital of my choice, now have to wait for the doctor/surgeon to get back to me.
