Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 13 Oct 2024, 05:44

Good morning.

Sunny at the moment and we're forecast rain late afternoon so I really hope it happens as it's so desperately needed. Our reservoirs are at their lowest on record. :(

I'll have a swim this morning then we fancy getting a pollo asado which is a whole chicken rottiseried.

We'll walk into town and buy one and they also sell accompaniments which include fries, different coleslaws, salads and huge crusty baguettes so that's dinner sorted. :P

TV tonight.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sunny :Hi: :Hi: Dry :Hi: And warm :Hi: All in all a very peasant morning 8-)

And no bangs, as yet. So no hunter around.

Washing out, donkey had his morning treat, apples and carrots this morning :D Cat in, Grumpy still asleep

General pootling outside this morning. I have a plant to go in the garden and a couple of dead one's to be removed. Might trim some of the ice plant, the sheep love it, something different to munch.

Roast pork for dinner.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning Ally Janb and anybody else who is up.

Thank you all for thinking of me. As I have told Ria, I have had problems with my computer

And I have had a virus which has not been very pleasant.

But things are now back to normal so I should be posting every day now.

It was only 13C when I got upso the CH has gone on. Cloudy but no rain. The sun is tryingto come out.
Wil be doing some ironing which I didn't finish yesterday.

Then tidying up as I have not done much house work last week.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, we are in London and will be heading to Heathrow in about an hour for our flight home. We went out for breakfast, there is a place in St Pancras called The Breakfast Club that does American style breakfasts, we spotted it last week so said we would go there today - very nice it was too. Yesterday’s travel was very relaxing, I’ve had a cold/sinusy thing since Thursday and it was nice to be able to sit and look at the view or have a snooze if I needed to. So the Eurostar is another thing off the bucket list and the TGV through France was an added bonus - rail travel is so civilised! It’s very chilly here in London this morning, probably not helped by me being a bit under the weather. We were quite tired when we got to the hotel last night so went to bed early and slept well. We’re in a Premier Inn on Euston Road opposite the British Library - fabulous location, minutes to St Pancras Station, the tube to Heathrow and also to places like Covent Garden. It was a lovely holiday, we did enjoy it and it was good to get some sunshine on our bones as winter is setting in.

Oh Ally, I thought of you every time we passed a Mercadona!

Morning all :D

Nice and sunny 8-)

Glad you had a lovely holiday Osc, I'll make a note of The Breakfast Club and Premier Inn on Euston Road, always good to get recommendations.

So pleased to see Billy and Louie go through on The Voice again, they really are special.

A nice lazy Sunday for us, roast chicken with veg for dinner this evening. Vanilla blancmange with lemon and lime jelly for pud.

Hope you all have a good day xx

A busy morning.

Two trees and one plant now in the ground. And three dead trees and two dead plants removed.

A whole crowd of hunters were in the forest and then we heard all sorts of shouts and yells, and watched as a huge boar - and I mean huge  - was chased over the fields and up the hill by a pack of hunting dogs.

He got away, somehow

Lovely and warm in the sun, but cooler when it goes behind a cloud and quite blowy.

Safe journey home Osc, hope you feel better soon x

Afternoon everyone :)

Sounds delicious Ally :D xx

I'm glad the boar got away Jan ;) xx

Glad you're back, and feeling better Cruiser xx

I love train travel too Osc 8-) xx

Enjoy your lazy day Jen xx

It's a bit grey here, and chillier. Mick and I went out for breakfast, B stayed home with the pups. Went to D's afterwards. I've got a chicken casserole cooking. Mick is sketching :)

Love to all :) xx

I forgot to mention the twelve Birds of paradise seeds I put in.

Fingers crossed.

Boar is a gorgeous taste Kaz and that one would have done us for about six months
