Sad news form hull that he has died R I p
Years ago he used to bring every week 15 shirts to be ironed
And my mate Carol used to do them q
Now we wernt allowed to really but she did then charge £15-00 and if our boss was about from his own shop she took them into the hairdressers next door to hide them

Kaz his lovely wife Pauline used to come in some times to
collect them she was so smart an d polite afternoon ladies she would say memories

I remember photos of her, lovely black hair and very smartly dressed :)

He was one of the very few MPs I can say that I really liked.

He was part of a delegation of Labour MPs visiting RAF St Athan when I was on my fitter's course. He was the only one who drifted away form the officers guiding the tour and spoke directly with us airmen. He just seemed interested in "us" and how we were getting on. He knew from his own experience in the Merch that life was very different for us "other ranks" compared to those of the officers.
