The minister appointed by starmer to look into corruption in the financial sector is herself along with other family members under investigation in Bangladesh for corruption. How ironic.

This was known in 2013 when she met Putin. In 2015 she became an MP - how? Money, contacts? She is now the Treasury's Economic Secretary responsible for tackling corruption in UK financial markets. What are her qualifications - apart from knowing about corruption? Oh, a PPE and one in English Literature.

i despair at how all political parties select their Ministers and shadows.

It seems to be not what you know but who you know.


Very few if any MPS have actualy worked in a factory or other businesses. They do not understand what it entails to operate a business and make a profit
so that the business can expand.

I go into a smallcafe for a pot of tea. It is ownwd bytwo siters and gives good friendly service. There are a lot of regular customers.
THey may have to put their prices up because of what Reeves has done.
