Mandelson

Has anybody seen this on the TV ?
I haven't got round to reading the papers yet today, but this seems like a massive story and there looks to have been a TV blackout on it.

Blair, Brown, and all their cabinet colleagues during that time, should be rounded up and charged with treason.

This admission by Mandelson should be used time and time again against Labour so that the ordinary working man and woman never forget why their plight is now so desperate.

Isn't it strange that the UK's largest news outlets, BBC and Sky, are not carrying the story?

There are still a lot of people about who think that layabouts who just want to come here for a free lunch should be welcomed with open arms.

It was Labours intention to flood this country with immigrants, criminals fraudsters paedophiles pick pockets all welcome traffikers gang masters , this was to ensure if ever the Cons got back in the country would be in such a state that whatever they attempted to do they would be bashing their heads against a brick wall.
NHS ruined, schools bursting to capacity with foreigners children, the standards for the indigenous a disaster. Housing with them being given priorities. Lawyers there to fight their corner.. Crime up Illegal marriages, and Liars who say it is down rape, paedophiles let off and when caught are given mediocre sentences., we cannot deport them because of their Uman Rites.

What a stinking hell hole this country has become. And Mandy can be praised for exposing the crimes committed by the last government, but he is as bigger crook as the rest of them.. All there to line their pockets.

Of course they sent out search parties for them. They had to reduce the impact of the minimum wage some way. Typical Labour, give one small and relatively unimportant thing. To do which they destroy employment and services for the very people who welcomed the minimum wage.

The sad fact is that Labour voters will not believe it. They will keep on voting Labour and blaming the Tories for the austerity.

The habit of setting our government a low target and expecting them to significantly underperform. Then repaying them for underperformance by voting for them again; is too far ingrained now.

I'm not saying vote other. I'm just putting my twopenneth worth in. The very people they trumpeted the minimum wage to are the most heavily hurt by this.

Be careful what you wish for.... You may get it.....

And watching the BBC news tonight you can see why. Lead story, the pressures on A and E departments at hospitals. A and E are now seeing many more customers. Would this have anything to do with the last Labour government altering GP's contracts so that they don't have to provide out of hours cover? Which the BBC forgot to mention?
Or might it have something to do with the disastrous PFI deals used by Gormless Gordon and his mates to finance the building of new hospitals? Our local hospital, Pinderfields in Wakefied, was rebuilt about four years since.
The new hospital had fewer beds than the old one, but most importantly, the PFI deal is a killer. The taxpayer will be paying for this place for the next 30 years. This year alone the bill was £43 million!. No wonder the NHS is short of money.

Well PFI is perfect if you want to funnel large sums of government money into banks and financial institutions, without falling foul of EU regulations; isn't it.....

But, erm, what happens when you run out of money the government can borrow..... Errr. The Brown Bust and the vital services of the country go with it.....

This is the Blair and Brown legacy. Sell the country to the lowest bidder, promise to pay more than we can afford to countries and institutions which really don't need it. Tie us into contracts which cost more to exit than they cost to complete, regardless of the quality or reality of the end result.

It will take 50 years to repair the mess Blair and Brown have created and that's with a solid government committed to reform and recovery. Needless to say there is no chance Labour will not get in again in the next 45 years to mess things up again...

It may be more insidious, the Unions may be under more control, but the end result is not in doubt. What is more shocking is that the damage Blair and Brown did is deeper and much further reaching, than anything Wilson and Callaghan did....

Err, no. It's a way of governments, and not just those in the EU, of accessing funds from the private sector to fund infrastructure projects over a long payback time: a bit like a mortgage. The only really relevant EU law is that such projects should be supra-national as far as bids are concerned.

So true, but again that has/had nothing to do with the EU. Our UK politicians did it all on their ownsome lonesome, and for their own purposes. And Mandelson has told us what those purposes were...... not that his revelations are getting much publicity.
