Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 01 Jun 2025, 04:53

Good morning.

Flaming June was coined for Spain.

I'll have a swim this morning. :D

Off to the airport late afternoon to pick up Craig who's coming over for two weeks. :cute: :cute:
It's one of the best feelings watching someone you love walking into arrivals. :cute:

We're going straight to Jacob's where him and Inma, along with Conor and Lucia will be waiting to greet him then we're all going out for dinner to somewhere Jacob has reserved. :P

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Warm already and a bit overcast today.

Have a lovely time with the family Ally x

Just finishing my coffee, then I'll head outside, well sprayed with anti-moz  to water the fruit trees and the new plants I put in yesterday.

Then I'll do the cleaning and that will be it, I think.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good moringAlly, JanB and anybodyelsewhois up.

It is 18C and the sun is out so it may get warmer. Not as warm as yu Ally but better than rain.

Going to wash the car and fnshug the weeding. Stil los between the flags. Don't want to use weed killer. Very expensive.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all :)

Ally I remember that feeling well, from when B came home from Australia. Have a lovely family time :) xx

Hope you can stay mozzie-free Jan ;) xx

My mum-in-law makes up a weed spray from acetic acid and bicarbonate, Cruiser. Not sure of the exact proportions, but I'm sure you could look it up on Google xx

It looks fine outside at the moment, but not as warm as it has been. We fancy Corretto's for brunch today, then this afternoon P and M are visiting Doreen, so we should show our faces ;) Not terribly keen on their dog, Wilson, a Hungarian Vizla who is a bit on the uncontrollable side, so we won't take Daisy with us. I love dogs, as you all know, but he's an awful dog, jumps around and has actually bitten Mick once in the past. I don't think they should bring it with them, my fear is it knocking D over, it nearly has a few times, but D won't hear a word of it  So I keep my mouth shut :cute:

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all :D

Sunny 8-)

Well I did wash the car yesterday and the whole front drive. I used to do it every year, but what with all the ops between us, it hasn't been done for a very long time. I looked like I'd been stood in front of a grit blaster by the time it was finished :o  Can't say it's a brilliant finish, it probably needs 2 or 3 more goes, but I've got some Wet & Forget stuff so will see how that works. Just need to wait for a couple of days guaranteed no rain.

No plans for today, roast chicken with salad for dinner, choccy blancmange with orange jelly for pud.

Hope you all have a good day xx
