Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 29 Jun 2025, 02:45

Good morning.

We're just home from a most wonderful evening. :cute:

Met people who are neighbours and good friends with our vendors who feel like are going to become our good friends. :D

We sat outside the restaurant eating and talking till 2am then Don and I went for a long walk on the beach.
I cannot wait to move here. :cute: :cute:

Another heatwave scorcher of a day on the cards.
Jacob and Inma are coming over to spend the day with us. Inma is low in Vitamin D so will get a good dose of that by the sea. :D

I'm the meantime I'm going to grab some zzzzs before they arrive.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Warm already and another very hot day.

Glad you had a good time Ally and hopefully, met new friends :D

Done all the watering, that's my exercise done  A lot of walking, with two watering cans, so weight training as well  Will do the swimming bit once I've had coffee and before breakfast.

I'll prep for the tuna salad this morning and then try and get some sleep. Had a dreadful night, coughing, sneezing and went through nearly two packs of tissues  That was after I was just about kicked out of bed and ended up in one of the other bedrooms. He was hot, apparently, so spread out

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it started off cloudy but the sun seems to be breaking through. We will be heading over to Miss Osc’s soon as they head to London for two nights and they are going to Wimbledon tomorrow. Just need to finish packing our stuff, make the bed, and we’ll be ready to go.

Good morning.
Warm here but we have a nice breeze coming through the house.
Are you house sitting Osc?
We've watched a bit of Glastonbury. Crikey, Neil Young and Rod Stewart? They were going fifty years since.
If we'd have listened to fifty year old music in the 1970s we would have been listening to Ambrose and his Orchestra, or some such.
Chicken for dinner and our son and his gf will be comng round for a cup of tea and a natter this afternoon.
Have a great day everyone.

Morning all :D

Hot 8-)

We had a lovely walk yesterday, the top of my thighs certainly felt it, but that's probably just the King George steps  Roast chicken with salad, vanilla blancmange with lemon and lime jelly for pud this evening. Too hot so absolutely nothing else happening today, will be sitting in the garden under the big umbrella.

Hope you all have a good day xx

House and young-people-sitting (not babies any more!). It made sense because then they can do their own thing while we just sit around ;)

Afternoon :)

Ally, the new neighbours sound lovely! :D xx

Good for you, Cruiser! 8-) xx

Oh Jan, hope.you're managing to get that nap! xx

Osc, that does make more sense! Hope Miss Osc and hubby enjoy the tennis.xx

Crommers that is certainly true, about the music! xx

Glad you had a good walk yesterday Jen, it's much too hot for it today! xx

It's very hot here! Becky stayed home with Daisy, so Mick and I went to Corretto's for breakfast, and sat outside. Round to D's afterwards, to put her bins out and make sure she's coping in the heat.

Chicken, Jersey spuds and veg for a late lunch/early dinner, followed by fresh fruit (rasps and banana) and ice cream.

I stripped our bed and pegged it out first thing, and have just put the same set straight back on the bed, nice and fresh from the line :) 8-)

Will be ringing the boys shortly, as usual :)

Love to all xxxx
