Morning Ally, morning everyone

A few clouds around this morning and a very pleasant 35C.

I've done my bit of the watering, Grumpy is finishing off the rest.

Coffee morning this morning, so that means the oven gets turned on for the first time for a while  Doors will be open, to try to keep the heat out.

Picking up various bods along the way and we're doing a presentation of two complete uniforms - boots, helmet, gloves. Even down to socks - all fire retardant.

Out to lunch afterwards, Jacquie coming with us, try to take her mind off Steve having his op early this afternoon. Darren is taking him down this morning and I'll pick him up probably tomorrow.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning Ally, JanB and anybody else who is up.

It is 20C this morning. Some clouds but the sun is trying to come out. Going to Chorley. Will get lots of cheese as the stall is shuttingfor two weeks. They are going on
holiday.

JanB, I cannot nderstand why you have to have an oven on to make coffee. I boil my water in a kettle before pouring it into the cafetiere.

Have a good day everybody

Very funny

Sadly, boiling water does not make samosas or cheese slices.

Hello you two and everyone, good morning.

Ally, good luck with the solicitor appointment and enjoy thr afternoon and evening with Conor.

Jan, hope all goes well for Steve. Enjoy thr coffee morning.

Cruiser, enjoy Chorley

I'm on the train to the office. Don't usually go in on a Friday but we have a client meeting so bossman will be in, so I should be in also. So a boring office day for me.

Daft me yesterday.... I posted my morning message early yesterday morning but when I went to shut down my personal laptop for the evening, I realised I never hit the submit button - doh! So today I will make sure I do

Have a lovely day everyone xx

Morning all, it’s dull at the moment and around 12° which was lovely for walking first thing.

Just about to fill the washing machine. Joe will be back later and after five days away I’m sure he’ll fill the basket again  Saying that, he’ll only be home for a couple of hours as he and Jade are off to the Lake District tomorrow, it’s a weekend they should have had in January but the cottage they’d booked was snowed in so the owners rebooked them for this weekend.

Tom FaceTimed last night to tell us that he’s being promoted from September. We couldn’t quite understand what the new part of his job entails but it’s involved with the sixth form and he’s Lead Teacher for something or another. It was something about supervising kids who are writing dissertations and assessing them, he’ll still be teaching history alongside this but not so many classes, he’s coming over tomorrow so we’ll get more info then.

The Tesco order is due soon, still no frozen food available so it appears that the freezers still aren’t working.

Cruiser, I’m assuming that’s your indoor temperature?

Ria, I often do that   Something distracts me and I don’t realise until I look again at night that I didn’t finish the message.

Have a good day all :D

Morning all, it’s quite dull here and the outside temperature is 14 degrees. Mobility class this morning and we hope to go dancing tonight. Edward and Michael are playing golf. Otherwise nothing planned. I made contact with an American relative last night, who has put a family tree in the post, very kind of him. I’ve been very lazy in recent years about family history, I really must try and get back to it.

Morning all :D

Sunny 8-)

We had a lovely walk yesterday, perfect weather for it, manageable heat with a light breeze.

Back to boring jobs today, the usual Friday wash and I have a number of admin jobs to do on the computer, been putting them off because of the heat, but they really can't wait much longer.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Wow, we had over 60 people to the coffee morning

Bluddy hard work, in all the heat, but the presentations went well. As did the samosas, cakes and pasties. And all the other food.

Lovely, lovely lunch.

Steve has probably just about had his op now, later than planned and is staying overnight in hospital. he actually rang me, whilst we were at lunch, as Jacquie had left her phone at home

A couple ofwines down at the bar and now home. to do nothing at all, apart from maybe a stroll into the pool :D

Evening, everyone :)

Another sunny day here, but that's set to change tomorrow. Had my SW meeting first thing, then we spent some time with D. Added to my ironing pile by getting more washing done :P Settling in for a quiet evening now.

Ria, I've done that before now  xx

Jan, that's a good attendance! :D xx

Jo, congrats to Tom on the promotion :Hi: xx

Love to all :) xx
