Hospital. 17th December.

I have a plate in my back that has been causing problems. On some days I can barely stand or walk. I visited the doctor last Thursday and today my appointment came through for the Spinal Injuries Unit.... 17th December. Not bad eh?

An assessment will be made, x-rays and scans taken, and I am told to take in loose clothing, a wash bag, night clothes and a supply of any drugs I take in case I am admitted for treatment on the day.

If that's what it takes then that's what it takes.

Btw, if they do take the plate out tell them that you want it. With the price of scrap metal these days it might be worth a couple of quid!
