She is...not well. Completely listless, and the look on her face.
We're both very very upset, but she is our lovely girl and we're not prepared to put her through any more unless it's really likely to help.
She did start to recover so very well, we were thrilled, and more than happy to accept she might never be quite the dog she was. Since the last setback she has not been anything like as good, until the last week, so then we were hopeful and optimistic again, but now has gone very suddenly downhill.
Will wait and see what the vet says with the results tomorrow, but our poor girly, she's not good.

So very, very sorry to hear this. I do hope she pulls through this but if not, the greatest thing you can do for her is to alleviate her suffering.

It is so, so hard I know. But by putting her before your own feelings you would be carrying out an incredibly kind act.

And you will know when the time is right.

But I really, really hope it won't come to that and that this is just another blip.

Thanks Debih, I know what you mean.
As you know there's a possibility it could all change in the morning, but I'm not too hopeful.
And I can't begin to imagine life without her.

I dread Millie taking a turn for the worse as we have already made the decision that we won't put her through any more operations.

It just doesn't bear thinking about. :(
