We got about four inches of snow on Sunday. I had to drive about an hour to get home from my
sister's place and just took it slowly. It doesn't pay to try to race home in the snow. You just end
up in the ditch, if your lucky, or rolled over onto the roof of your car if you are not. So. I have a
healthy respect for Mother Nature and never try to mess with her.

This morning there was just a thin layer of ice on my car and parts of the roads were also icy, but
mainly they were clear, for which I was thankful.

Looks like I'll have a white Christmas this year... :P

You drove in four inches of snow Elaine!?

Most of Britain would have come to a halt with that amount. Schools would have closed, planes would not fly, trains would have stopped mid-journey and people would have struggled, by any means, to the supermarkets to stock up with enough food to last through the winter.

You are obviously mad as a hatter. ;)

It happens a lot to us with frost - the back garden has walls about 8ft tall so it has its own microclimate :)
The dog's bucket of water has had to be broken 3 or 4 times today though ;)

We had more in the night, and the back garden is covered now  :x

We have a high fence one side Di, a high garage wall at the bottom belonging to the neighbours and our garage the other side - so maybe that explains last night ;)
