M&S Online 20% today - help! choosing boots

For once fb had a sensible link on those ads on the right, the M&S 20% off.
I'd looked all last winter for a decent pair; my current M&S ankle boots(about 6 years old) are sort of smarter, very plain, but thin soles, no good with leggings or cold weather.
I kept showing Bb, each pair he said, oh yes, they're nice
And when I said, but this pair or that pair, he said, they look the same to me

Now see if that had been Don (given he loves shoes!!) he'd have said to me 'get them all!'

And then I'd argue I don't want them all..I only want one pair!

(I daren't tell you how many pairs of shoes that man has...Imelda Marcos would've been impressed!)
