What Are We Reading In October?

Postby Ally » 01 Oct 2013, 07:20

I'm reading The Betrayed by Kate Kray.

Nearly finished it so next up is Sophie Kinsella's I've Got Your Number.

Lightweight material as my head is full of other things at the moment and couldn't cope with anything too heavy.

 Haven't read a damned thing for 3 weeks - since Bb's eye thing
When I have time to do nothing I've been catching up on TV or just too tired to read...still, he's getting better :D

Nor me Di - I ordered Richard Madeley's novel from the library and have started it, but I'm not taking much in just now

I'm still wading through the Rider Haggard stories on my Kindle. There are 50 of his novels altogether.
Then I have The complete works of Jules Verne, Arthur Conan Doyle, and Wilkie Collins. They equate to hundreds of books.

They are all my preferred type of reading, and I'm really enjoying them. I'm currently halfway through "The Queen Of Sheba's Ring".

Whether I shall live long enough to read them all, I don't know. but I hope so.

I'm still reading, and enjoying, Instructions For A Heatwave by Maggie O'Farrell...I've got just over an hour left to read.

I finished Instructions For A Heatwave earlier. It was okay but I didn't warm to any of the characters.

I'm now going to read The Making Of Us by Lisa Jewell.
