Imponderables

Postby pederito1 » 01 Oct 2013, 11:00

A few things in the news bugging me lately, like, Knox. Did she or didn`t she? No apparent motive, no forensic and none of her footprints at the scene like those of the man in jail for the murder. Yet the Italians seem sure she was involved, maybe they know something we don`t. I expect we shall never know the truth.
Then, Diana. Conspiracy theories keep coming up but the latest of a laser, I think it very doubtful that an experienced driver would swerve if suddenly losing vision. I certainly would not, just continue in the same direction and brake gently to a stop as has happened to me with a shattered windscreen. What we do know is that they took that car and that route, probably persuaded by someone unknown and they were baulked by another car in the tunnel and their car swerved into the pillar. Again I do not think an experienced driver would swerve like that if baulked by a small car, I certainly would not unless I could see the way clear to do so, putting my faith in crumple zone, belt and bag. Could the car have swerved like that to the left by itself when he braked perhaps by the right disc being applied with a lubricant spray? Then there was the mysterious doctor who appeared on the scene and tried to revive her, or did he?
Thirdly Pistorius, the thing I have never seen mentioned is why did she lock the loo door? In an intimate relationship with someone you would not lock the door when getting out of bed for a pee, shut yes to minimise the noise of the flush but not lock. The only reason for that must have been to get away from him for a while after a row. I am quite sure he never intended to kill her but got out of bed after her putting on his legs and either took his gun or went back for it then fired at the door in a blind rage without thinking of the consequences. The trial will be interesting.

Diana I cannot be bothered with. The whole thing has waters so muddied that we will never know the truth: ever. The poor woman is dead, we should let her lie in peace.

The Pistorius case is a mess. The media has gone to town on this "celebrity" murder. There have been different alibi stories and versions of events printed from various friends and family. There has been police corruption and ineptitude. Pistorius himself cannot tell the same tale from one asking to another. Will there ever be a fair trial? It looks doubtful.

The Foxy Knoxy case is a bit of a puzzle. It is understandable that the Kerchers want to know the truth, but there is a suspicion that only one version of the truth will satisfy them - the jailing of Knox for the murder.

And on the point of one version of truth being the only one acceptable, two cases keep coming back many years after the event, The fist is the McCanns. They have done their damnedest to minimise their actions on the night in question so that the only version acceptable is that someone plotted to kidnap or abduct Maddie. No stone has been left unturned in their attempts to silence anyone who disagrees; as the latest libel case in Portugal shows. The second is Hillsborough. It is beginning to look as though the relatives of the victims will not be satisfied until the Liverpool fans are cleared of any wrongdoing, as though they entered in single file with plenty of "Excuse mes" and "No, after yous". Yes, things went wrong, mistakes were made and witness statements were altered, but they were not the cause of the disaster. With 20:20 hindsight there were many causes, one of which was the actions of the supporters, but that side appears to have been eradicated from history.

Knox - guilty as sin ;)

Diana - not bumped off by security forces, there are easier ways to kill someone than that - and to make it look natural ;) I agree with you Frank, let her rest in peace.....

Pistorius? HIgh on steroids/testosterone (the house was full of it) and in a blind rage :( That poor girl must have locked herself in, terrified :(

Oh gosh the McCanns :? I daren't go there as I nearly got myself lynched elsewhere for my views on that! ;)

Diana - Mrs O is a huge conspiracy theorist on this. It was apparently the CIA, MI6 and ET. Or possibly BT. :D
Personally, I think the poor driver was hounded by the paparazzi and it was a tragic accident for which the latter were to blame. :(

Pistorius - it looks very fishy. But do you trust the South African police force to investigate it properly. Personally, I think Mandela did it. If I were correct, the BBC would be in absolute raptures, and we'd never get him off the bleddy screen .....

Knoxy - She looks guilty, but we really need Montelbano to investigate and plant a bit of evidence ......

Hillsborough - another tragic accident which should now be consigned to history. OK, so the police fabricated their reports. So what's new?

The McCanns - I daren't even think an opinion in case I get sued by you know who .....

Interesting views but I forgot the coke girls and have not completely discounted a sting. One thing we can be reasonably certain of is that they did not go on a last minute holiday to Peru with all found first class on a whim nor did they pay for that. Nor I imagine did they go into a shop in Lima and ask for 10kg of premium grade white and pay for it with a credit card. So someone must have given it to them whom the authorities would like to catch. But you would think a professional would have sealed the dope in something the dogs could not detect.
Interesting to see if they are released.

I am still prepared to give the women a bit of benefit of doubt over this affair. The whole story does not add up and the Peruvian authorities only seem intent on catching the mules and not the gang-masters. That's not to say the women were not stupid and could have handled things differently.

I hope I may be forgiven for a final twist on Diana, a car crash is a favourite way of ..er..arranging an accidental death and has been done many times and then I was in Spain in the July before the crash and saw a picture of her on the Riviera where she was in the rag mag "Hola" in a swimsuit and she had a small but rather unmistakable tummy bump. :?

No, slim as she was Diana could be prone to a bit of a 'pot' sometimes, I don't buy the preggie theory, I seem to remember that being raised at the time...... ;)

Diana I think there is a good possibility her death wasn't an accident :o

Peru Two Guilty as sin! Obviously just stupid mules but they deffo knew what they were getting into.

Pistorius Guity.

Knoxy I can't decide whether I think she is guilty or innocent :?

McCanns Guilty of being negligent and unlikeable but not guilty of killing their daughter.
