GBBO: over half way.

Postby Workingman » 30 Sep 2013, 15:52

It looked from the very beginning that Katherine and Ruby had it sewn up between them, but Frances and Beca are coming up on the rails. Katherine, especially, has fallen back quite alarmingly at times.

Ruby looks to be the winner already, but I do wish that she would stop playing the sympathy card so much.... and fluttering at Paul.

Ooh, Glen got knocked out...... Watch out Katherine and Ruby, Beca and Frances are sneaking up, and Christine is a dark hose. :-P

Becca's voice is irritating but she's good :)
I like all of them, and Glen was lovely but definitely had to go :(
Christine next to go unless someone else seriously c*cks up ;)

I like Ruby but she does annoy me with all her whinging.

I like the black woman and the one with the dark hair (not the one that did the enormous matches) - is her name Bec.

In the past I think the winner has always won star baker on bread week (I could be wrong so don't quote me!!) and if that is right and it carries on then Ruby could be set to win.

I just love Mel and Sue more than anything on this show. And I am loving the way they are taking the p*ss out of Paul. The other week was hilarious when they kept saying he was a salsa teacher as he was dressed all in black.

I love Sue Perkins - I will watch and listen to anything with her in. I have to say, if I were to decide to "bat for the other side" she would be my ideal woman. In fact, I am secretly a little in love with her.

Oh yes :D
We only get the Times on a Saturday so only see Giles for his restaurant column but always enjoy reading it.
Shame though really, am sure lots of people only read him because his dad was so clever and funny...think he has quite a chip on his shoulder because of that ;)
I like him though :)
